摘要: A fuel cell (10) includes a lamination (11) of a plurality of unit cells (30), current collector plates (12, 12) arranged at both ends of the lamination (11), end plates 16, 16 respectively provided outside the current collector plates (12, 12) with 5 insulating plates (14, 14) interposed therebetween, and fastening members (18) for fastening the end plates (16, 16) in the laminating direction to apply desired pressing force to the lamination (11). A barcode (41) corresponding to particular information relating to a unit cell (30) is provided on the exposed side surface of a separator (38) of the unit cell (30). According to this fuel cell (10), the barcode 41 can be easily read requiring no disassembly of the fuel cell (10). Moreover, as the information relating to the fuel cell can be obtained from the barcode (41), the information that cannot be determined from outer appearance can be obtained, resulting in improved service operations.

摘要: The invention relates to a fuel cell stack structure capable of suppressing a drop in voltage resulting from flooding or contamination at an end in a direction in which cells are laminated, particularly in a cell at a gas outlet/inlet end. In this fuel cell stack structure, a layer which is irrelevant to power generation and in which a gas flow channel is formed is provided at least at a gas outlet/inlet end of a laminated-cell body of a fuel cell such as a solid-polyelectrolyte fuel cell. The layer is constructed of a dummy cell having a gas flow channel but no MEA. In addition, according to this fuel cell stack structure, both a fuel gas flow channel and an oxidative gas flow channel are formed in one face of the layer which is irrelevant to power generation and in which the gas flow channels are formed.

摘要: A stack structure of a fuel cell according to an aspect of the invention includes a plurality of separators of the fuel cell, and a protruding portion which has a tip portion that contacts a reference portion of an assembly jig during assembly of the fuel cell. Since the tip portion of the protruding portion contacts the reference portion of the assembly jig, an adhesive agent does not come out from the tip portion of the protruding portion. Therefore, it is possible to prevent positioning accuracy in stacking cells from being reduced. The reduction of the positioning accuracy is due to adhesion of the spreading adhesive agent to the reference portion of the assembly jig. In addition, it is possible to prevent a short-circuit from occurring. The occurrence of the short-circuit is due to deformation of the separator caused by making the separator contact the reference portion of the assembly jig.

摘要: A thin film composed of a material containing a metal and silicon is formed on a transparent substrate, and a thin film pattern is formed by patterning the thin film. Then, the main surface and the side walls of the thin film pattern are previously modified so as to prevent the transfer characteristics of the thin film pattern from changing more than predetermined even in the case where exposure light with a wavelength of 200 nm or less is cumulatively applied onto the thin film pattern which has been formed. The main surface and the side walls are modified by, for instance, performing heat treatment to the main surface and the side walls at 450-900° C. in the atmosphere containing oxygen.
