    摘要: A driving system for moving paths or escalators which use an endles chain adapted to be circulated between a path for transporting passengers, comprising a first and a second sprocket disposed at one end portion and substantially middle portion of the path, respectively, a first and a second induction motor coupled respectively to the first and second sprockets and each having the same rating output the sum of which is selected to be substantially equal to a maximum capacity of the system, an induction coupling interposed between the second sprocket and the second induction motor, means for detecting a current flow through the first induction motor, means for setting a reference value, and a thyristor amplifier for exciting the induction coupling in response to an excess developed when an output of the detecting means exceeds the reference value.

    摘要: An image communication apparatus is capable of communicating with external apparatuses. The image communication apparatus receives image data from a first external apparatus and stores the received image data in a storage unit. Upon receiving a request from a second external apparatus, the image communication apparatus identifies the image data that was destined for the second external apparatus among the image data stored in the storage unit and transfers the identified image data to the second external apparatus.

    摘要: An acousto-optic filter utilizing the far-off-axis anisotropic Bragg diffraction comprising an optically anisotropic crystal in which a light beam of incidence travels in a direction making a large angle with the crystalline axis and an ultrasonic wave travels in a predetermined direction. In the acousto-optic filter using a paratellurite crystal, the wavelength of the visible light is tuned by changing the frequency of the ultrasonic wave in a low frequency range below 100 MHz. The ultrasonic power required for driving the acousto-optic filter is about 1/500 that of the so far known acousto-optic filters. The bandwidth of the transmitted light can be changed from several angstroms to several hundred angstroms by selecting the incident angle of the light.
