Abstract:
An image processing apparatus that is capable of executing a process efficiently by reducing a time required for the connection process to a host apparatus that has a high communication frequency among a plurality of host apparatuses connected by the WUSB communication. A generation unit generates connection history information based on information received from a plurality of host apparatuses connected. A detection unit detects a condition in which none of the plurality of host apparatuses is connected. A control unit selects a host apparatus of the highest communication frequency among the plurality of host apparatuses based on the connection history information when the detection unit detects the condition in which none of the plurality of host apparatuses is connected, and to perform a connection process to the selected host apparatus.
Abstract:
A new and novel dot printer for printing characters of dot matrix or the like by sliding a slide member in the direction of a row, said slide member being provided with a plurality of dot printing elements which are arranged in line thereon at a predetermined distance, wherein plate springs are provided on both ends of the slide member as a guide, support and return mechanism so that guide, support as well as return power are assured for said slide member.
Abstract:
A high speed printer in which ions produced between the high voltage impressed electrodes are modulated and then passed through an ink mist to electrically charge the ink particles to thereby print desired letters, figures, signs, etc., on a printing paper, characterized in that an electronegative gas containing a fluorine component and not containing any chlorine component is flown into the aperture board to prevent are discharge that would otherwise take place between the anode and aperture board.
Abstract:
In an AC elevator which is provided with a multi-speed induction motor unit connected to an AC power source and including a high-speed motor and a low-speed motor and in which an elevator car is started and accelerated by the high-speed motor, a control system comprising regenerative braking means connecting the low-speed motor to the AC power source through one set of thyristors connected in parallel in opposite polarity, DC braking means for supplying direct current to the high-speed motor from a controlled reactifier circuit, means for controlling the regenerative braking means to reduce the speed of the elevator car, means for detecting the reduction of the speed of the elevator car to a level at which the regenerative braking means is no more effective in producing the regenerative braking torque, and means for deenergizing the regenerative braking means and energizing the DC braking means in response to the output of the detecting means.
Abstract:
A high speed printing apparatus in which ions produced between electrodes receiving a high voltage are passed through an ink mist so that they are deposited with the ink particles to perform printing with such ion-loaded ink, characterized in that the ink mist produced in a mist tank is once stored in a reservoir tank and then fed to the printing section.
Abstract:
A conductive protection board for protecting an aperture board from dust is mounted in an ink mist type high speed printer. The ink mist type printer operates on the principle that an ion stream modulated by an aperture board according to the pattern of the character to be printed, charges the ink mist, which is then attracted by an electric field to the surface of the paper. If an aperture of said aperture board is obstructed, a portion of the printed character will not be evident. In order to avoid the obstruction of an aperture the conductive protection board which has a plurality of apertures, each of which corresponds to each aperture of the aperture board, is placed very close to said aperture board.
Abstract:
An image communication apparatus capable of communicating with external apparatuses determines whether image data received from the external apparatuses is a first type of image data that was to be transmitted to the image communication apparatus or a second type of image data that was to be transmitted to other image communication apparatuses, and performs predetermined processing based on the determination result.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing hollow molded articles having a beautiful surface at a low cost and by a simple and efficient process includes providing a hollow elastic molding die made of an elastic film and having an opening port, feeding a material to be molded of an amount smaller than the internal volume of the elastic molding die into the elastic molding die through the opening port, closing the opening port, solidifying the material to be molded while the elastic molding die is rotated to all directions, and parting the solidified hollow molded article from the elastic molding die. Arrangement for preventing the elastic molding die from being deformed while it is rotated to all directions includes holding it firm by a solid holding member conforming to the external shape thereof or by positioning it in a fluid or powdery material holding member.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses herewith a new and novel dot printer for printing characters or the like by a dot matrix, wherein print timing is automatically corrected in relationship to the spacing speed of printing elements so that uneven dot distance is eliminated.
Abstract:
This invention provides an ink mist type high speed printer in which an aperture board is provided between a first electrode and a second electrode across which a high voltage is applied. The aperture board is adapted to selectively control passage of ions generated from the second electrode, and a stream of ink mist is passed between said aperture board and first electrode so that the ions which have passed said aperture board will electrically charge the ink mist particles selectively to let the electrically charged ink mist particles deposit on a recording paper placed between the ink mist and first electrode to thereby print the desired dot matrix characters. This invention also features provision of electrostatic shields placed between said first electrode and ink mist stream and at places outside of the desired printing space to guard the aperture board against deposition of ink mist particles.
