摘要： A transflective liquid crystal display device mainly includes a single-cell gap panel, and the bottom surface of the single-cell gap panel has a reflective device. A first liquid crystal (LC) film is installed at the top side of the single-cell gap panel, and a first polarizer is equipped at the top side of the first LC film, a second LC film is equipped at the bottom side of the single-cell gap panel, and a second polarizer is equipped at the bottom side of the second LC film. By way of this optical structure compensation, the present invention which collocates the LC films with the transflective structure of a common single-cell gap panel can complete the transflective optic mode and obtain better reflective contrast ratio, transmissive contrast ratio and higher transmittance for liquid crystal display devices.

The reflection layer is smaller than the counter electrode in area. The liquid-crystal disposition layer is disposed on the pixel electrode layer and comprises a transparent material layer. The transparent material layer is smaller than the liquid-crystal disposition layer in thickness and has substantially the same shape and area as the reflection layer, and the transparent material layer and the reflection layer are face-to-face disposed at two opposite sides of the pixel electrode layer.

摘要： A liquid crystal display (LCD) and a liquid crystal panel thereof are provided. The LCD includes a backlight module and the liquid crystal panel disposed thereon. The liquid crystal panel has a first substrate, a second substrate, and a positive liquid crystal layer. The first substrate has a plurality of pixel electrodes, and each pixel electrode has a plurality of first strip-shape portions. The second substrate has a common electrode, and the common electrode has a plurality of second strip-shape portions. The positive liquid crystal layer is interposed between the pixel electrodes of the first substrate and the common electrode of the second substrate and is vertically aligned. The corresponding areas of the first and the second strip-shape portions are staggered.

摘要： A transflective LCD having a dual common-electrode structure has a front substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a rear substrate. The front substrate has multiple first and second common electrodes respectively connected to a first and a second contact pads. The first and second contact pads are respectively connected to two voltage sources to obtain different voltage. The rear substrate has multiple pixels, each has a reflective region and a transmission region. The reflective region is aligned to the first common electrode and the transmission region is aligned to the second common electrode. Since the voltages to the first and second common electrodes are different, the voltages of two liquid crystal capacitors corresponding to the reflective and transmission regions are also different. Therefore, the V-T curves of one pixel are adjustable to be close to each other by supplying different voltages to the first and second common electrodes.
