    摘要: In a multi user communication system, subcarriers are allocated to subchannels using a quality measurement for each subchannel. An initial sub carrier is allocated to each subchannel, and a quality metric measured. Subsequent subcarriers are allocated in dependence upon the quality measurement for each subchannel. The subchannel with the lowest quality measurement receives the first allocation, and the subchannel with the highest quality measurement receives the last allocation. The subsequent allocation is repeated, following a re-sort of the subchannel quality measurements, until all of the subcarriers are allocated.

    摘要: There is provided a first device for use in a communication system, the communication system further comprising a plurality of second devices, the system having a plurality of orthogonal frequency carriers available for transmissions, each second device having a respective carrier frequency offset estimated from signals received from the first device, each of the second devices transmitting a respective stream of symbols using the respective estimated carrier frequency offset and one or more frequency carriers selected from the plurality of orthogonal frequency carriers, the first device comprising receiver circuitry for receiving respective signals from each of the second devices; a channel estimator for generating, from the received signals, an estimate of the channel over which the signals have been transmitted; an interference estimator for generating, from the received signals, an estimate of interference at the first device caused by errors in the carrier frequency offsets estimated by each second device; and circuitry for equalising the received signals using the estimate of the channel and the estimate of the interference.

    摘要: There is provided a first device for use in a communication system, the communication system further comprising a plurality of second devices divided into a plurality of groups, the system having a plurality of orthogonal frequency carriers available for transmissions, each second device having a respective carrier frequency offset estimated from signals received from the first device, each of the second devices transmitting a respective stream of symbols using the respective estimated carrier frequency offset and one or more frequency carriers selected from the plurality of orthogonal frequency carriers, the first device comprising receiver circuitry for receiving respective signals from each of the second devices; a channel estimator for generating, from the received signals, an estimate of the channel over which the signals have been transmitted; an interference estimator for generating, from the received signals, an estimate of interference at the first device caused by errors in the carrier frequency offsets estimated by each second device; first circuitry for cancelling interference in the signals received at the first device using the estimate of the interference, the circuitry being configured to cancel interference between second devices within a first one of the plurality of groups; second circuitry for equalising the signals output from the first circuitry using the estimate of the channel; and third circuitry for cancelling interference in the signals output from the second circuitry, the third circuitry being configured to cancel the interference between second devices in a second one of the plurality of groups.

    摘要: A method and a device for performing space coordination among cells are disclosed in the present invention, and the method includes that a base station in a serving cell acquires the channel information of a terminal; the base station in said serving cell performs pre-scheduling to said terminal, according to the acquired channel information of said terminal and the service requirement of said terminal; the base station in said serving cell transfers the pre-scheduling information to the base station in said coordinated cell, so that the base station in said coordinated cell performs coordinated scheduling/coordinated beam-forming with the base station in said serving cell together, according to said pre-scheduling information. With the solution of the present invention, the pre-scheduling information is transferred between base stations in various coordinated transmission cells, and the coordinated scheduling/beam-forming is performed according to the pre-scheduling information, thus, the coordinated scheduling/beam-forming is implemented with less amount of information exchange, and the spectrum efficiency of cell-edge terminal is improved.
