    摘要: The present invention provides an electron gun which includes an electrically non-conductive substrate through which a perforation is provided. The electron gun is characterized in that a cathode-structure supporting member is welded to power-feeding members that are bonded to a stem side of the electrically non-conductive substrate, the cathode-structure supporting member supplying power to a heater included in a cathode structure. Structured as such, it becomes possible to reduce the size of the electron gun in the tube-axis direction, since an additional member for supporting the heater becomes unnecessary. In addition, the cathode-structure supporting member makes the electrically non-conductive substrate to work as a wiring board for supplying voltage to the cathode, thereby realizing a slim cathode-ray tube. Further, the above structure improves accuracy in the assembly process of the electron gun, thereby improving the yield factor.

    摘要: A cathode-ray tube with high image quality in which electron beams with higher current density than the electron-emitting ability of cathodes are formed and a driving voltage of the cathodes can be decreased. A cathode-ray tube comprises a glass face-panel, a glass funnel connected to the rear part of the face-panel, and an electron gun for emitting electron beams that is contained in a neck portion of the funnel. On the peripheral surface of the funnel, a deflection yoke for deflecting the electron beams emitted from the electron gun is mounted. A phosphor dot for three colors of red, green and blue is applied on the inner surface of the face-panel, thus forming a phosphor screen surface. In the vicinity of the inner surface of the face-panel, a shadow mask is arranged substantially in parallel with the phosphor screen surface. Between the phosphor screen surface of the face-panel and the cathodes in the electron gun, a means for superimposing a plurality of electron beams on the predetermined phosphor dot is provided.

After an electron-emitting material is sprayed onto the base metal, its surface is mechanically flattened to form the electron-emitting layer. Thus, the planarity of the surface of the electron-emitting layer can be improved without deterioration of the electron emission characteristics and the moiré can be decreased without reduction of the resolution.

    摘要: In a joystick device, a rotation position detector for detecting a rotation position of a rotatable cylinder having one end coupled with a dial knob is provided between the cylinder and a case. The detector includes a drive gear provided around the cylinder, a rotary body which has a driven gear provided around its outer periphery and is in mesh with the drive gear, multiple magnets provided on the rotary body, and a magnetic sensor provided in the case to face one end portion of the rotary body to detect the rotation position of the cylinder based on positional change relative to the magnets along with rotation of the rotary body. Such arrangement enhances the degree of design freedom for arranging a magnetic sensor in the axial direction of the cylinder in detecting a rotation position of the cylinder by the sensor and reduces a necessary number of magnets.
