摘要: An electrodeless lighting system, including a waveguide having an outlet which is installed being protruded from the inside of a casing to the outside of the casing, for transmitting a microwave generated in the magnetron, a resonator fixed at the outer side of the outlet of the waveguide, for forming a resonant region in which the microwave is resonated, a bulb for generating light as plasma is generated by an electric field which is formed inside the resonator and a lighting promoting means positioned inside the bulb, for concentrating the electric field so that light is rapidly emitted when the microwave is applied, can achieve convenience of a user and increase reliability of lighting as the bulb rapidly emits light.

摘要: A cooling apparatus of a plasma lighting system. The system includes a power supply for supplying a power source; a magnetron for generating electromagnetic wave by the power source from the power supply; a bulb for generating light in accordance with that inert gas is ionized by the electromagnetic wave; and a case unit of a hermetic shape including the magnetron and the power supply therein for cooling heat generated from the magnetron. The plasma lighting system prevents heat of high temperature generated from the magnetron from being transmitted and foreign substance from being introduced.

摘要: A bulb for an electrodeless lamp system uses Sn or halogenide of the Sn as a primary bulb fill for obtaining continued spectrum when it is discharged, and the halogenide of the Sn is SnBr2. Therefore, high photoefficiency and superior color rendering can be obtained, and less ultraviolet ray than that of sulfur is radiated and warm feeling can be obtained visually.

摘要: In an electrodeless lighting system having a cooling unit for cooling a radiator therein, the electrodeless lighting system includes a microwave generating unit for generating microwave energy; a light emitting unit connected to the microwave generating unit and emitting light by forming plasma by the microwave energy generated in the microwave generating unit; a housing having a first receiving space for receiving the microwave generating unit and sealed-combined with the light emitting unit; a heat exchanger installed at the outer surface of the microwave generating unit to absorb heat generated in the microwave generating unit; a radiator installed at the outer surface of the housing; and a heat transfer member at which one end is connected to the heat exchanger and the other end is connected to the radiator by penetrating the housing to transmit heat from the heat exchanger to the radiator.

摘要: The present invention relates to a light guide capable of transferring light from an illuminating apparatus to a certain distant destination. The light guide includes a light source, and a hollow guide unit extended from the light source and having a transparent lateral surface. The present invention provides a pipe shaped light guide having a cross section of an epicycloidal curve for enhancing power and a light emitting characteristic. In the present invention, light is transmitted using a light transmitting material or a prism at a portion of a cross section of the epicycloidal curve, and a reflection plate formed of a high reflection ratio is installed at the remaining portions of the cross section of the same. In addition, an expensive lens or prism is not used in the present invention thereby decreasing fabrication cost. It is possible to provide a high efficiency light guide. In particular, it is possible to improve illumination and energy efficiency characteristics by changing the type of the epicycloid or changing an optical parameter of a material which forms the wall surface of the light guide.
