This printing apparatus comprises a hopper for retaining sheets; a feeding path defined on that surface of the apparatus which is opposite to that surface of the apparatus where the hopper is disposed for conveyance of sheets; a feeding mechanism for feeding a sheet from the hopper onto the feeding path; an endless rotary latent image carrier provided between the hopper and the feeding path; an image forming unit, provided between the hopper and the feeding path, for forming a toner image on the latent image carrier; a transfer unit for transferring the toner image on the latent image carrier onto the sheet conveyed along the feeding path; and a fixing unit for fixing the toner image on the sheet.

    摘要: A cleanerless image forming apparatus and a cleanerless image forming method facilitate the collection of residual toners after image transfer. The image forming apparatus includes a rotary endless latent carrier, a rotary charging brush for charging the rotary endless latent carrier, and a unit for forming an electrostatic latent image on the rotary endless latent carrier. The electrostatic latent image is developed on the rotary endless latent carrier by supplying polymerization toners simultaneously with the cleaning of residual polymerization toners therefrom. The polymerization toners on the rotary endless latent carrier are then transferred to a sheet. The image forming method has a first operation of charging a rotary endless latent carrier; a second operation of forming an electrostatic latent image on the rotary endless latent carrier; a third operation of developing the electrostatic latent image on the rotary endless latent carrier by supplying polymerization toners simultaneously with cleaning residual polymerization toners therefrom; and a fourth operation of transferring the polymerization toners on the rotary endless latent carrier to a sheet.

A loop coil, which is disposed around the glass bulb between the color-selection electrode and the deflection yoke, includes: a first portion including two extending portions of the loop coil positioned over and below the glass bulb respectively, each center of the extending portions being substantially in a plane perpendicular to a tube axial of the glass bulb; and a second portion including two bent portions that are formed by bending right and left sides of an original form of the loop coil toward the neck.

The driving method includes a first step of driving the piezo-electric element so that a meniscus of inks is receded from an initial position of the nozzle to a first position within the nozzle, a second step of driving the piezo-electric element so that the meniscus quickly advances from the first position to a second position within the nozzle, and a third step of driving the piezo-electric element so that the meniscus slowly advances from the second position to the initial position. A particle quantity of ink particles is changed by changing a movement quantity from the first position to the second position in the second step.

    摘要: A color cathode ray tube having a striped phosphor screen is provided, in which color displacements due to the tube axis (Z-axis) component of the terrestrial magnetism can be decreased at low cost. A positive temperature coefficient thermistor and a degaussing coil are connected in series to an AC power source (AC 100V) via a switch. A rectifier/smoothing circuit is provided in parallel to the positive temperature coefficient thermistor. When the switch is turned on, an ordinary degaussing process due to the AC attenuating magnetic field interlinked to the degaussing coil is performed, and the DC magnetic field in the Y-axis direction interlinked to the degaussing coil decreases the influence of the terrestrial magnetism in the tube axis direction (Z-axis direction).

    摘要: An internal magnetic shield includes a pair of opposing long side walls (1), a pair of opposing short side walls (2), and an opening (3) enclosed by these side walls in the center. The short side walls (2) are provided with notches (4) having a substantially home-plate shape. This configuration can reduce mislanding of an electron beam on the entire screen and easily balance the amount of mislanding due to geomagnetism in the tube-axis direction and in the horizontal direction perpendicular to the tube axis. As a result, a cathode ray tube capable of displaying images without displacement and unevenness of colors can be provided.
