摘要: In a telephone set, a base unit has a front recess defined by a bottom and a sloping wall including a front part and a rear part, and a rear recess, and a protrusion is provided on the front part of the sloping wall and extends rearward. A locking piece is provided to extend through an aperture formed in the rear part of the sloping wall of the front recess. The locking piece extends toward the protrusion and is pushed toward the protrusion by a spring. The spring permits the retraction of the locking piece into the enclosure of the base unit. A buffer member having a resiliency is provided in the center of the bottom of the front recess. A front dent provided on the front part of the front convex part engages the protrusion. A rear dent provided on the rear part of the front convex part engages the locking piece.

摘要: A vibration state detecting method at a machining stage of a work and/or tool, includes the steps of mounting the work and/or tool on a predetermined rotational device and measuring a deviation size and/or deviation average speed corresponding to each rotational number of the work and/or tool; presetting the deviation size and/or the deviation average speed measured by using the rotational device, a vibration amplitude and/or vibration average speed when each machine tool having a work and/or tool mounted thereon is rotated, with a common unbalance amount and at a rotational speed, and proportional fixed number of both thereof; and calculating a vibration amplitude and/or vibration average speed corresponding to each number of rotations when the work and/or tool is mounted on each machine tool by using a measurement value of the deviation size and/or deviation average speed of using rotational device, and the proportional fixed number.

摘要: A fire detecting/extinguishing apparatus according to the present invention is comprised of a fire detecting unit which monitors to detect a fire within a monitoring area, the fire detecting unit stepwise scanning in a vertical direction while scanning the fire monitoring area in the vertical direction at each step of the horizontal scanning; a water discharging unit having a water discharging nozzle for discharging water to the monitoring area, the water discharging unit being rotatable in the horizontal direction, the water discharging unit being directed toward a position of the fire based on the fire detection by the fire detecting unit; a swinging unit which swings the water discharging unit in the horizontal direction; and a casing in which the fire detecting unit and the water discharging unit are housed as a single unit. Further, the apparatus of the present invention includes a cover fixed to a side of the water discharging nozzle which is opposite to the side of the water discharging nozzle. The cover is capable of rotating together with the water discharging unit, and the cover is flush with a front wall of the casing when the water discharging nozzle is housed in the casing.

摘要: A light guide plate includes an incident surface on which light outputted from point light sources is incident and an outgoing surface for outputting light incident from the incident surface. A reflection-and-propagation surface for reflecting light toward the outgoing surface is formed in a back surface opposite to the outgoing surface. The outgoing surface is made up of a propagation region adjacent to the incident surface, a propagation auxiliary region adjacent to the propagation region, a first diffusion-and-propagation region adjacent to the propagation auxiliary region, and a second diffusion-and-propagation region adjacent to the first diffusion-and-propagation region. The propagation region, the propagation auxiliary region, and the first diffusion-and-propagation region control hot spots and bright/dark lines in vicinities of the incident surface, while the second diffusion-and-propagation region controls viewing-angle characteristics of the light guide plate.

摘要: A light guide plate having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface receives light in a first direction parallel with the second surface and emits the light towards the first surface in a third direction perpendicular to the first surface. The light guide plate includes a light receiving portion which receives the light; a light guiding path which guides the light in the first direction; and an emitting portion which emits the light by reflecting the guided light towards the first surface in the third direction. The emitting portion includes a plurality of V-shaped grooves extending on the second surface in a second direction crossing the first direction. Each V-shaped groove extends in the first direction and is formed so as to be deepest in the center in the second direction and become shallower as a distance from the center increases.
