摘要: A permanent paper is disclosed which employs as a stock pulp slurry containing at least one kind of filler and aluminum sulfate, a hydrophobic modified rosin emulsion sizing agent and a water-soluble alkaline salt, wherein the pH where said filler is dispersed in water to form 10% of a dispersion is 4-8, the pH of said pulp slurry is controlled within 6.5-7.5 and an alkaline salt of an acid having a pKa of 5-14 at a 25.degree. C. aqueous solution is coated onto said paper and the pH of the coated paper extract in cold water is 7.5-9.0.

摘要: Fine paper type ink jet recording paper which has a pH 6.0-8.0 in cold water extraction to provide printed letters of high quality, is produced by using a basal paper comprising wood cellulose and a filler which has a pH 4.0-8.0 as a 10 wt % dispersion and by applying an alkali metal salt at a coverage rate of 0.01-5.0 g/m.sup.2 to at least one surface of said basal paper.

摘要: An ink jet recording paper, which is excellent in ink absorbency and color-developing properties and has dull-tone glossiness, comprising an ink-receiving layer and at least two colloidal silica layers applied successively onto a support, each of said colloidal silica layers comprising chain colloidal silica as a main ingredient, wherein at least the colloidal silica layer contacting the ink-receiving layer contains no binder and has a coverage of about 1 to 3 g/m2, and the coverage of other colloidal silica layer is about 1 to 6 g/m2.

摘要: Provided are an ink jet recording paper which is provided with a recording layer having a coverage rate of from 0.1 to 10 g/m.sup.2 on at least one side of a base paper and has a basis weight of from 50 to 100 g/m.sup.2, with the recording paper having an irreversible shrinkage factor of from -0.05% to 0.10% in the CD direction when it is put under an environment that the relative humidity thereof is raised to 95% from 35% and then lowered to 35% and further showing a shrinking rate of from 0.15% to 0.25% in the CD direction by the change in relative humidity of the environment from 75% to 60% during the process of lowering the relative humidity from 90% to 35%.

摘要: An ink-jet recording paper sheet for ink-jet recording with on-demand type heads having a multi-nozzle comprises a recording layer formed on one face of a base paper sheet to give a basis weight of the recording paper of from 150 to 250 g/m.sup.2 with a coating color which contains a pigment and a binder, the pigment containing synthetic silica having a BET specific surface area ranging from 250 to 500 m.sup.2 /g at a content of not less than 80% by weight of the pigment, the binder containing casein and styrene-butadiene rubber, the weight ratio of the pigment to the binder ranging from 1.8 to 2.4, the recording layer having coating solid in an amount ranging from 15 to 25 g/m.sup.2, and surface roughness by ten-point-hight of the recording layer ranging from 0.5 to 5 .mu.m, and the paper sheet being curled at a maximum curling height ranging from 0 to 20 mm in A4 paper size with the printed face upside. An ink-jet recording method ejects ink droplets by thermo energy from an on-demand type head having a plurality of nozzles onto the recording paper sheet.

摘要: An ink jet recording medium is disclosed, comprising a base having provided on one side thereof a recording layer having an ink receiving layer whose surface is smoother than plain paper's and on the other side thereof a coating layer comprising an aqueous binder containing 10 to 40% by weight of a higher fatty acid salt to a coating weight of 0.1 to 0.3 g/m.sup.2. An ink jet recording medium is also disclosed, comprising a base having provided on only one side thereof a recording layer, said recording layer having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.65 to 0.75 in mutual friction, the back surface of said base having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.15 to 0.25 in mutual friction, and the coefficient of static friction between said recording layer and said back surface is 0.55 to 0.65. The ink jet recording medium is prevented from being double-fed and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing high quality images. The ink jet recording layer is freed from feed trouble and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing images of high resolving power.
