    摘要: When a molded portion of a weather strip is molded, a slit, from which a core body is taken out, is formed in a mounting base portion thereof. Also, plural blocking clips are provided at predetermined intervals along the slit. The blocking clips comprises a base portion, which constitutes a part of the mounting base portion, a fitting portion fitted into the slit, a lock portion locked on an inner surface of the mounting base portion, and an engaging projection formed in such a way as to project from the base portion. A fitting groove, into which the engaging projection is fitted, is formed in the mounting base portion. After a core body is taken out of a molded portion precursor, the blocking clip is attached thereto, so that the molded portion is obtained.

    摘要: When a molded portion of a weather strip is molded, a slit, from which a core body is taken out, is formed in a mounting base portion thereof. Also, plural blocking pieces are provided at predetermined intervals along the slit. Each of the blocking pieces has a base piece portion formed in such a way as to extend from a mounting-face side of the mounting base portion, and also has an insertion portion, which is integrally formed with the base piece portion, and a lock portion to be locked on an inner surface of the mounting base portion. After the core body is taken out of a molded portion precursor, the base piece portion of each of the blocking pieces is bent around a part thereof continuously connected to the mounting base portion, so that the insertion portion is fitted into the slit, and that the lock portion is locked on the inner surface of the molded portion precursor, which faces a hollow portion. Thus, the molded portion is obtained.

    摘要: An insert member which is made of a material which is harder than a material forming a molded portion of a glass run which is mounted on an inner side of a sash is provided relative to a bottom portion of the molded portion. The insert member is provided with an insert body, and a projecting portion which is projects from the insert body toward the sash and is fitted in a hole in the sash so as to be locked in place therein. A part of an entire edge of a distal end portion of the projecting portion, which extends in a longitudinal direction of the molded portion is chamfered. In addition, a surface of the insert body facing the sash and at least a peripheral wall portion of the projecting portion are covered with a covering portion which is made of the material forming the molded portion.

    摘要: A corner piece for an automobile has a resin insert covered partly with a high molecular elastic material. The resin insert has a bracket body portion and a glass run portion molded together as a unit from a synthetic resin. The bracket body and glass run portions have a common channel along their rear side, and the channel is covered with a high molecular elastic material to form a glass run, or it is fitted with a separate glass run. A reinforcing metal insert is embedded in the bottom of the channel between the bracket body portion and the glass run portion. The reinforcing metal insert reinforces a door belt line, so that the corner piece can mount a large and heavy door mirror and can also be expected to be of improved durability.
