摘要: A light amount control apparatus including an iris (2) for adjusting an amount of a light from a lens (1) and supplying the adjusted light amount to a CCD element (3), an iris driving unit (9) for driving the iris (2), an iris position detecting unit (10) for detecting an aperture value of the iris (2), a shutter driving unit (8), and a microcomputer (11) for controlling the iris (2) through the shutter driving unit (8) and the iris driving unit (9). The aperture value of the iris (2) can be prevented from being increased after the position of the iris (2) detected by the iris position detecting unit (10) is located a little ahead of the position at which a diffraction phenomenon occurs. After the iris position detecting unit is located a little ahead of the position at which the diffraction phenomenon occurs, the aperture value of the iris (2) can be prevented from being increased. Therefore, when the cameraman takes a picture of bright scene, for example, even if the iris is closed considerably, the diffraction phenomenon can be prevented and a satisfactory shooting can be effected.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an analog-digital conversion service transaction system and a method thereof that can convert the analog information media into the digital information media without taking much trouble or costing much money. A distributor requested to convert analog information media into digital information media accesses to a converting center terminal by using a distributor terminal via a network, and transmits request order information to the converting center terminal. The conversion terminal, when receiving the request order information, calculates a time and date whereat the digital information media become available for a delivery, and transmits them to the distributor terminal. The client either receives the digital information media by visiting the distributor after the time and date whereat the transfer can be done, or receives the content of digital in formation media by an e-mail transmitted by the client terminal.

摘要: A method and apparatus for performing block sequential processing is described. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a determine pass logic, selection logic, next coefficient logic and control. The determine pass logic has inputs coupled to receive significance state information for a region, a pass bit for each coefficient in a subset of the region, and a current pass indication. In response to these inputs, the determine pass logic generates pass indications to indicate a pass for each coefficient in the subset of the region. The selection logic has inputs coupled to signals output from the determine pass logic and the current pass indication and, in response to these inputs, generates output indications associated with one pass of either the significance propagation, refinement, and cleanup passes. The next coefficient logic is coupled to the selection logic and indicates the next coefficient in the current pass in response to the output indications from selection logic. The control is coupled to receive the output indicating the next coefficient in the one pass and codes coefficients in the significance propagation, refinement and cleanup passes. The control also codes the next coefficient in either the significance propagation, refinement and cleanup passes as indicated by the next coefficient logic.

摘要: Disclosed is a reader-printer being capable of erasing a frame surrounding margin of a microfilm and unnecessary image portion in the frame. The reader-printer comprises first flap member, second flap member which are disposed adjacent to a slit and movable in and out of a light path directing toward a photosensitive drum and a lamp to illuminate those flap members when they are moved into the light path. The first flap member is movable in the longitudinal direction along the slit for varying a shading area.

摘要: Disclosed is a rail fastening device adapted to fasten a rail. The device includes leaf springs each being bent at its intermediate portion and provided at its base portion with a screw spike hole and at the rail pressing end thereof with an elongated hole. A tie plate is laid between a rail and a sleeper. The tie plate has a central rail mounting surface and screw spike holes formed at both sides of the rail mounting surface. The screw spike holes formed in the base of the leaf spring and in the tie plate at each side of the rail are adapted to receive a screw spike having a flange having a diameter smaller than the width of the elongated slot. The device further has a fastening member on the peripheral surface of the screw spike and adapted to press, when the screw spike is driven into the sleeper through the screw spike holes into the sleeper, the periphery of the screw spike hole in the base end of the leaf spring onto the periphery of the screw spike hole in the tie plate, while leaving a gap between the flange and the leaf spring.

摘要: A purpose of the present invention is to provide a portable wireless unit capable of suppressing a deterioration of antenna performance, which is caused by electromagnetic mutual effects occurred between two antenna elements, and capable of achieving an improving effect of a high diversity gain, and also capable of realizing a designing characteristic and an operative characteristic in a compatible manner. While an upper case (1) and a lower case (2) are coupled to each other by a hinge portion (3), a circuit board (8) is arranged on the lower case (2), and also, a power feeding element (7) and another power feeding element (20) are arranged in such a separation manner that an interval between these power feeding terminals (7) and (20) is longer than, or equal to “λ/20” on the circuit board (8). Also, while a whip antenna (9) is provided on the lower case (2), this whip antenna (9) is connected via the power feeding terminal (7) to the circuit board (8). Also, while a metal frame (13) is provided on the upper case (1), this metal frame (13) is connected via the hinge portion (3) and the power supply terminal (20) to the circuit board (8). Then, a dipole antenna is constituted by the metal frame (12) and a ground pattern of the circuit board (8) in combination with the hinge portion (3). A diversity receiving operation is carried out based upon antenna outputs of this dipole antenna and the whip antenna (9).
