摘要: A method for measuring a concentration of a specific component includes the steps of: supplying a sample fluid to a reaction field holding a reagent; obtaining a single or a plurality of leak currents for correction, through a measurement of electric current made once or a plurality of times without applying a voltage to the reaction field; obtaining a single or a plurality of electric currents for calculation, through a measurement of electric current made once or a plurality of times while applying a voltage to the reaction field; and calculating a concentration of a specific component in the sample fluid, based on the single or the plurality of values for correction and the single or the plurality of values for calculation.

摘要: An analyzer (A) includes a current measurer (42) for measuring the current flowing between paired electrodes (22a), (22b) when a sample is introduced to the reagent layer (23) of a sensor (2) and voltage is applied across the electrodes, while also including a processor (3) for analyzing the sample based on the current after a predetermined reference time point. The analyzer (A) further includes a fail determiner (44) which monitors the change of the current before and after the reference time point and determines that the sensor (2) is improper when the current change does not correspond to a predetermined current change.

摘要: In order to provide a liquid crystal display device which can detect a defective indication due to short circuit which occurs between a common electrode and a counter electrode by a conductive impurity enters into a liquid crystal display panel, and an analysis device including the same, a blood glucose meter includes a display section and a microcomputer. For performing an inspection for a defective indication on a liquid crystal display panel of the display section, the microcomputer uses ports as input/output ports for a defective indication inspection. The microcomputer detects whether an inspection signal sent from the port can be received at the other port or not to perform the inspection for a defective indication.

摘要: The present invention relates to an analyzing device (1) used with an analytical tool (2) mounted to the device, where the analytical tool provides a reaction field including sample liquid and includes a first and a second electrodes (20A, 20B) for applying voltage to the reaction field. The analyzing device (1) includes a connector (10) coming into contact with the first and the second electrodes (20A, 20B), an analysis circuit (13) for performing sample analysis based on sample liquid information obtained from the analytical tool (2) through the connector (10), and a disturbing-noise countermeasure unit (11) which absorbs disturbing noise and which is provided closer to the connector (10) than to the analysis circuit (13).

摘要: The present invention relates to a technique for measuring the concentration of a particular component in a sample liquid using a test tool (2). The test tool (2) includes a first through a third detection elements (31a-33a) arranged in the mentioned order in the moving direction of the sample liquid for measuring an electro-physical quantity. The present invention provides a concentration measuring method which includes a first detection step for detecting whether or not liquid conduction is established between the first and the second detection elements (31a, 32a), a second detection step for detecting whether or not liquid conduction is established between the second and the third detection elements (31a, 33a), a measurement step for measuring an electro-physical quantity by using the first through the third detection elements (31a-33a), and a concentration computation step for computing the concentration of the particular component based on the electro-physical quantity. The present invention also provides a concentration measuring apparatus (1) for realizing the concentration measuring method.
