An object is providing an electrostatic attraction apparatus and an attracting/releasing method capable of reliably attracting and quickly releasing a glass substrate. An attraction force for attracting a glass substrate is obtained according to the physical properties of the glass substrate. In addition to obtaining an attraction voltage (Vc(t)) required for obtaining the attraction force, a holding voltage (Vh(t)) for holding an attraction state and a release voltage (Vr(t)) for releasing the glass substrate are also obtained (S1 to S7) Attraction time period (tc) is actually measured and if this measured time is different from a preset attraction time (t1), the holding voltage (Vh(t)) and the release voltage (Vr(t)) are recalculated according to the actually measured attraction time period (tc) (S8 to S11).

The present invention provides a thermal printing sheet which enables to realize a stable low friction coefficient within a heating range by a thermal head and which has a superior preservation stability without giving an adverse affect to dye layers.The thermal printing sheet according to the present invention includes a substrate sheet 1, on one side of which are formed thermal dye layers 2 and on the other side of which is formed a heat resistant slide layer 3. The heat resistant slide layer 3 contains polyoxyalkylene sorbite fatty acid ester which exhibits a superior lubrication characteristic, enabling to obtain a low friction coefficient even under a high temperature. Moreover, the polyoxyalkylene sorbite fatty acid ester is neutral and does no adversely affect the dye layers. The heat resistant slide layer 3, in addition to the polyoxyalkylene sorbite fatty acid ester, may contain polyglycerin fatty acid ester and metallic soap.

A thermal transfer sheet having a base sheet; a thermal transfer dye layer formed on the front side of the base sheet; and a heat resisting and lubricating layer formed on the reverse side of the base sheet. Even if the thermal transfer dye layer contains an indoaniline dye, deterioration in the indoaniline dye can be prevented, the preservability of the thermal transfer can be maintained, fusion of the thermal transfer sheet to a thermal head can be prevented and smooth movement of the thermal transfer sheet is enabled. Thus, sticking which occurs during a printing operation can be prevented. The thermal transfer sheet according to the present invention has a base sheet; a thermal transfer dye layer formed on the right side of the base sheet; and a heat resisting and lubricating layer formed on the reverse side of the base sheet, wherein the thermal transfer dye layer contains an indoaniline dye, and the heat resisting and lubricating layer contains polyoxyethylene sorbitol fatty acid ester and phosphoric ester at a weight ratio of 10:1 to 1:2.

In order to improve mixing efficiency of highly viscous fluid, while structural simplicity being maintained, two types of stirring impellers are employed in a single stirring apparatus. One of such stirring impellers is a large flat impeller and the other is a slanted or screw-shaped impeller to cause an up-and-down flow. This principle is further utilized in a stirring tower type polymerization reaction apparatus which has an array of mixing areas, each of which corresponds to the stirring apparatus above, and partitions between the mixing areas. The partitions are disposed so that the temperature of reaction can be controlled easily. Undesirable effects such as "dead space", space in which flow is insufficient, and the attachment of gelled material to the rotational shaft can be avoided while rather obvious, but no less important, advantages of efficient and uniform mixing, etc., are secured.

The thermal transfer inksheet contains a substrate, a thermally transferable ink layer formed on one face of the substrate, a thermally resistant lubricant layer formed on the other face of the substrate which contains a polyvinyl acetal resin and a tetraammonium salt wherein the vinyl alcohol unit concentration in the polyvinyl acetal resin is 12% by weight or less.

A stirring apparatus includes a container with a rotary stirring shaft therein. On the opposite sides of the rotary stirring shaft are mounted an upper vertical flat blade and first inclined flat blades opposite to each other. A first vertical flat blade has a sweptback blade associated therewith, and is mounted to the stirring shaft at a position under the first inclined flat blades, and a second inclined flat blade or blades and a second vertical flat blade having an associated sweptback blade are mounted to the stirring shaft at a position under the upper vertical flat blade. When the stirring shaft rotates, ascending flows of liquid to be processed along the inner wall within a vessel are generated by the upper vertical flat blade and the first and second vertical flat blades that are each associated with a sweptback blade. Descending flows of the liquid to be processed are generated by the inclined flat blades, thereby enhancing the mixing performance.
