摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a personal watercraft having a rear deck floor which can house goods necessary for water-skiing or the like and is provided with a space where a water-skier or the like sits when getting into the water or a space for embarkation when coming out of the water into a watercraft. In a personal watercraft having a whole plane view almost shell-shaped comprising a riding seat S provided from an almost central portion of a body A of a watercraft to a rear portion thereof, a steering handlebar 21 provided in front of the riding seat S, an engine E for propulsion provided below the riding seat S, and a jet pump P provided behind the engine, the jet pump being provided with an outlet port rearward for being driven by the engine, a rear deck floor 1 having a space for at least one adult to sit is provided behind the riding seat S and has an openable hatch cover 1A formed on the space, and a rear storage box 1B is formed under the hatch cover 1A.

摘要: The present invention provides a watercraft having steering components (steering tabs or stabilizers) for maintaining steering capability even while amount of water ejected from a propulsion pump is decreased. The steering components are movably disposed on a hull of the watercraft at or below the water level on both right and left sides to be in an “Operating State” in which resistance of water is larger or to be in a “Non-operating State” in which the resistance of water is smaller in accordance with steering operation. Furthermore, a mechanism for absorbing an external force acting on the steering components in the “Operating State” is located in a system for operating the steering components. The mechanism reacts to the external force to allow the steering components to be transformed into the “Non-operating State.”

摘要: An inner frame member, of a length that is less than the entire length of a hull, is joined to the inner surface of the hull that forms a lower portion of a body of a personal watercraft. The inner frame member has an engine mount portion that supports an engine thereon, an impeller shaft support region that supports thereon an impeller shaft of a propulsion device driven by the engine, and bulkheads extending in the lateral direction of the hull and joined to the inner surface of the hull. In accordance with the present invention, the personal watercraft is light weight, but also retains rigidity and assembling efficiency of the hull.

摘要: A small watercraft equipped with a lock mechanism for an engine hood is disclosed. The watercraft includes a deck, an engine hood that is pivotably provided to the deck around a pivot shaft, and covers an engine room thereunder from above so as to open and close, and a lock mechanism for locking the hood in an open position. The mechanism includes one member attached to the hood, another member attached to the deck, and a stopping member. At least one of the one member and the another member is formed with a protruding portion that protrudes in the radial direction of the pivoting. The stopping member is attached to the other member, and the protruding portion engages with the stopping member when the engine hood reaches a predetermined open position so that the protruding portion stops the pivoting of the one member to lock the hood in the position.

摘要: A small watercraft equipped with a lock mechanism for an engine hood is disclosed. The watercraft includes a deck, an engine hood that is pivotably provided to the deck around a pivot shaft, and covers an engine room thereunder from above so as to open and close, and a lock mechanism for locking the hood in an open position. 摘要: It is an object to provide a reverser for a watercraft which has a high go astern efficiency and also functions as a side thruster while holding planing performance. In a reverser (1) for a watercraft in which a deflector (1A) is movably provided behind a pump nozzle of a water jet pump (P) to change the direction of water flow ejected rearward from the pump nozzle, thereby allowing the body (A) to go in reverse, a discharge port (1a) which directs the water flow in a transverse direction is provided on both side portions of the deflector (1A), thereby feeding the water flow from the discharge port (1a) along a transom (T) of the body (A).

摘要: It is an object to provide a locking mechanism of a deflector for a watercraft which can perform the locking and unlocking operation of the locking mechanism simply by executing up-down movement of the deflector. A locking mechanism (1L) of a deflector (1A) for a watercraft comprises a first member (a locking member) (1E), a second member (an engaging member) (1K) to be engaged with the first member (1E), and a third member (an unlocking member) (1R) for disengaging the first member (1E) from the second member (1R), the first member being attached to a fixing side to be able to engage the second member therewith, the second member being attached to a deflector side, and the third member being capable of performing up-down movement of the deflector (1A), and the engaging state of the first member is released in an initial stage of operation of the third member, the second member is caused to be operated interlockingly at a succeeding stage to perform the up-down movement of the deflector, and the second member is brought into the engaging state by the first member in a succeeding final stage.

摘要: A theft prevention apparatus of a personal watercraft equipped with a main switch for opening/closing a main power-supply circuit including a starting circuit of an engine is provided. The apparatus inhibits the engine from starting when it detects the main switch being in an ON-state, no existence of a connection between an operating device of the main switch and the main switch, and a stopping of the engine. The apparatus prevents the engine from starting by inhibiting at least one of the starting circuits of the engine, an ignition circuit of the engine, and a fuel injection circuit of the engine from closing the circuit(s).
