摘要:
An automatic paper loading device and method wherein a paper magazine is placed on a magazine table. The table is slid toward a pair of feed rollers disposed at a paper entrance of a printer processor. While the paper magazine is moving together with the magazine table, the feed roller pair starts rotating, so that a paper leading end is nipped by the feed roller pair immediately before the paper magazine is completely set in the printer processor. A cut-out for allowing the access of the feed roller pair to the paper leading end is formed in the exit of the paper magazine. When the paper leading end has passed through the feed roller pair, the feed roller stops rotating. Then, the width of paper guide are adjusted according to paper data read from the paper magazine. After the adjustment, the feed roller pair starts rotating again, so as to feed the paper further into the printer processor.

A printer control film and a film carrier allow proper management of the printer control film. When a Bull's-eye serving as the printer control film is inserted into the film carrier, magnetic information recorded on the Bull's-eye is read out. When it is judged based on the read out information that the Bull's-eye is an unused one, a start time of use is recorded on the Bull's-eye together with an apparatus ID. When it is judged that the Bull's-eye was used before, the apparatus ID, the used period, the number of times of use, and the like are read out from the Bull's-eye. When it is judged based on these data that the Bull's-eye carries proper images necessary for a conditioning operation, the number of times of use is updated. Subsequently, images recorded on the Bull's-eye are printed onto a printing paper.

A price printer for printing prices relative to photographic processing, which is suitable for a printer-processor for printing image recorded on photographic films onto photographic papers. The price printer is disposed in a position where each image printed on the photographic paper is detected. The number of defective prints selected by detection is input by an operator. The number of the defective prints is subtracted from the total number of prints which is automatically input from the printer-processor to calculate the number of prints to be delivered to a customer and compute a print price to be printed. Therefore, a proper statement of delivery can be made at a time and the efficiency of work can be improved. A photographic-film carrier capable of automatically detecting information about the length of a processed photographic film can be provided. The price printer can read the length information so as to determine the kind of the photographic film and automatically set and print a development price. A process for determining the development price by the operator can be eliminated and a further improvement in the work efficiency can be made.

摘要:
In a printer processor, magnetic information is read out from a negative film by a magnetic head unit while the negative film is transported on a negative film carrier. Further, the density of each image is measured by an optical sensor of a sensor unit so as to detect a blank frame and an improperly exposed frame, thereby selecting images to be printed. After determining the print size of the selected images, a last image to be printed last, and a second last image to be printed before the last image is printed are specified. Based on the print sizes of the last image and the second last image, the printing order is determined before printing is performed.
摘要:
A film carrier which, with a simple structure, can accurately check whether a reading head and a recording head are operating appropriately. Data for checking is determined in advance, and when a negative film begins to be withdrawn, direct current voltage is applied to the recording head. A leading end of the negative film is detected. Thereafter, the negative film is conveyed a fixed amount, the recording head records the data for checking, and the reading head reads recorded data. Next, read data and the data for checking are compared. When the read data and the data for checking do not match, it is determined that there is an abnormality in the recording head or the reading head, and error processing is carried out.
摘要:
Disclosed herein is a condition setup/upkeep print for either setup or upkeep of normal exposure conditions of a photographic printer. A plurality of images are formed by copying images of standard negative films on the setup/upkeep print under given copy conditions, and an identification mark is applied on the print. The identification mark is set in such a manner that copy conditions such as the kinds of the standard negative films and exposed states are represented as a set of identification marks in association with each of the plurality of images. The copy conditions of the images are identified by the identification mark applied on the print. Either setup or upkeep of the normal exposure conditions of the photographic printer can accurately be performed.
