    摘要: In a solar cell roof structure, a photovoltaic power generating apparatus, a building and a method of construction of a solar cell roof, in which a solar cell module is provided above a roof base of a building, an electrical wire for the solar cell module is provided in a space between the solar cell module and the roof base, and the electrical wire extends into a space at the back of the roof base through a through hole provided in the roof base. A base sealing member on the roof base is provided for covering the through hole and an exit is provided in the base sealing member through which the electrical wire extends into the space between the solar cell module and the roof base at a portion of the base sealing member other than a portion just over the through hole of the base sealing member. The base sealing member can include a heat-resisting or fire resistive material on the roof base for covering the through hole.

    摘要: An installation structure of a solar cell module array in which a plurality of solar cell module strings are arranged on a desired installation face is provided. The plurality of solar cell module strings have a plurality of solar cell modules. There is an inter solar cell module connection cable to electrically connect the plurality of solar cell modules, as well as a positive string cable and a negative string cable. A non-contacting means is provided such that no contact occurs between the positive string cable and the negative string cable or between the inter solar cell module connection cable and the positive string cable or/and the negative string cable. This solar cell module array installation structure excels in safety. That is, in the array installation structure, the positive and negative string cables are wired in a desirable state so that no electric short occurs between these two cables, even when a fire occurs in the vicinity of the installation face.

    摘要: Provided are a plug that makes it possible to readily connect a power supply such as a solar battery or fuel cell to an external load or system power and to enhance safety, as well as a power converter and power generating apparatus having the plug. The plug has a movable insulating member for covering the plug electrodes when the plug is connected to an outlet and for exposing the electrodes when the plug is not connected to the outlet. In another example of the plug, the plug has at least two electrodes and switches corresponding to respective ones of the electrodes, wherein the switches are opened (turned off) when the plug is pulled out of the outlet. In still another example of the plug, the plug has at least two electrodes and a switch that is opened/closed in dependence upon the state of the connection between the electrodes and the outlet. When the plug is connected to the outlet, the switch is closed (turned on) to thereby sense the fact that the plug has been connected to the outlet.

    摘要: A thermistor element with positive temperature characteristic (PTC) has a planar ceramic member with a positive temperature characteristic of which the thickness is greater at its peripheral part than at the center part, decreasing either gradually or in a stepwise manner. Protrusions may be formed along its periphery. A PTC thermistor is formed with electrodes formed on both main surfaces of such a PTC thermistor, each electrode having a lower-layer electrode all over a main surface and an upper-layer electrode on the lower-layer electrode. The upper-layer electrode has a smaller surface area than the lower-layer electrode such that a portion of the lower-surface electrode is exposed at the periphery. The upper-layer electrodes may be formed at the center parts of the main surfaces, exclusive of the peripheral parts or where the protrusions are formed. The lower-layer electrodes may be mostly of Ni and the upper-layer electrodes mainly of Ag.
