摘要: Provided is a display system that uses a mobile communication terminal. The display system includes a mobile communication terminal having an insertion unit, and a mobile display device having a slot-type connection unit insertable into the insertion unit of the mobile communication terminal. Accordingly, it is possible to display received content on a display screen larger than that of the mobile communication terminal. Also, the display system overcomes noise problems and displays high-definition images by constructing a minimum number of connection terminals that connect the mobile display device to the mobile communication terminal. A method for displaying an image from a mobile communication terminal and a computer program product including a storage medium for performing the method are also provided.

摘要: A reflective display device may include pixels. Each pixel may include sub-pixels. Each sub-pixel may include first and second substrates spaced apart from each other; a driving unit formed on a top surface of the first substrate; a reflective layer, acting as a first electrode to which a voltage is applied by the driving unit, disposed above the driving unit; a second electrode formed on a bottom surface of the second substrate; a color filter layer disposed between the reflective layer and the second electrode; and a polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) layer. If the color filter layer is formed on the reflective layer; then the PDLC layer may be disposed between the second electrode and color filter layer. If the color filter layer is formed on a bottom surface of the second electrode, then the PDLC layer may be disposed between the reflective layer and color filter layer.

摘要: In an organic electro-luminescent display, a pixel circuit is disposed in a unit pixel region defined on a substrate. A passivation layer covers the entire unit pixel region including the pixel circuit. An organic light emitting diode (“OLED”) including a transparent lower electrode formed on a portion of the passivation layer which does not overlap the pixel circuit, an OLED layer, and an upper electrode are sequentially formed on the passivation layer. The transparent lower electrode is a transparent anode of the OLED. A protective layer is formed of the same material as the transparent lower electrode and disposed on a portion of the passivation layer corresponding to the pixel circuit to cover and protect the pixel circuit.

摘要: Provided is an apparatus and method for preventing the distortion of an image. The apparatus includes a signal insertion portion that inserts a sensing signal in an image signal that has information about an image and outputs the image signal in which the sensing signal is inserted as a scanning signal. A scanning portion generates light corresponding to the scanning signal and scans the light while operating in response to a drive signal that determines a direction for scanning the light. A detection portion senses the scanned light and detects the sensing signal. A sensing condition reflection portion checks whether the detected sensing signal matches a preset sensing condition and resets at least one of the image signal and the drive signal in response to a result of the check.
