    摘要: A developing device of an electrophotographic copier is structured separably into two mutually attachable and internally connected sections. One of these sections is disposed adjacent to the copier's photoreceptor and contains a developing roller and the other section distal from the photoreceptor is made of a relatively inexpensive synthetic resin material, including a stirrer roller. When the developing agent is spent, the two sections are separated and only the second part with the stirring roller is discarded for replacement. In order that the spent developing agent can be effectively collected, a bar magnet may be inserted into a chamber formed inside the shaft of the stirrer roller to make use of its magnetic force or a scrapper may be provided to scrape off the developing agent remaining attached to the developing roller. In the case of a clam shell type copier with a top part of the main body made openable rotatingly with respect to its base part, the developing device becomes tilted when the copier is opened for its replacement. A device for shaking the tank can effectively cause the developing agent remaining inside to move into the lower section of the device for easy collection.

    摘要: A main circuit switching unit and an isolator are accommodated in a vacuum container. A first conductor and a main circuit conductor are arranged to extend in and out of the vacuum container. A movable electrode of the main circuit switching unit is connected to the first conductor through a first flexible conductor, and a movable electrode of the isolator is connected to the main circuit conductor through a second flexible conductor. A shield is arranged around the first conductor and the main circuit conductor. Another shield is arranged around a connecting portion between the first flexible conductor and the movable electrode of the main circuit switching unit. A still another shield is arranged around the isolator. A further another shield is arranged around the second flexible conductor. These shields are secured to the vacuum container through insulating spacers. This arrangement instantly eliminates a dielectric breakdown phenomenon that occurs at electric field concentrated regions by the shields to prevent a dielectric breakdown caused by particulate foreign matters and thereby improve an insulation reliability of the devices.

    摘要: An oil pressure warning system for an outboard motor for detecting and alarming an abnormal oil pressure of an internal combustion engine, the system including a first oil pressure switch which generates an ON signal when the oil pressure is less than or equal to a first predetermined oil pressure, and a second oil pressure switch which generates an ON signal the oil pressure is less than or equal to a second predetermined oil pressure set higher than the first predetermined oil pressure. The abnormality of oil pressure is detected and alarmed based on the ON signal of the switches. The first and second predetermined oil pressures are determined based on an oil pressure characteristic of a (possible) maximum oil temperature (under which the engine has been warmed up) set relative to the engine speed, thereby ensuring to detect and alarm the abnormality of oil pressure under any engine speed and any oil temperature.

A sealing member is removably attached to the rims of this opening before the developing device is ready to be used. An end part of this sealing member is attached to a take-up shaft and the sealing member is pulled or peeled off to be wound around the take-up shaft when the developing device is set in the copier and the shaft becomes connected to a motor in the copier.

    摘要: In an image pickup tube including a cathode, a first grid electrode disposed as a next stage of the cathode and provided with an aperture, a second grid electrode disposed as a next stage of the first grid electrode and provided with an aperture, and a photoconductive target, the first grid electrode is operated by a voltage positive with respect to the cathode. To control the amount of the electron beam of the image pickup tube, a voltage corresponding to a signal current obtained from the photoconductive target of the image pickup tube or to a return beam from the photoconductive target is applied to the second grid electrode in such a manner that a polarity of the applied voltage is opposite to a polarity of a signal charge generated on the photoconductive target.
