    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide an ink jet recording sheet which has high glossiness of the recording surface and is free from the bleeding of an image with time even under high temperature and humidity. Also, the recording sheet can avoid the occurrence of cracks, is strong, possesses high ink-absorbing ability, and can form an image with high light resistance and water resistance. The ink jet recording sheet comprises a polymer which contains a quaternary ammonium base in its molecule, of which the ratio of inorganicity/organicity (I/O value) calculated based on an organic conceptual diagram is 1.0 or less and the cation density (meq/g) is 3.0 or less, and which is soluble in at least one of water and an organic solvent.

    摘要: A 2-diazo-1,2-quinone compound having a substituent group containing an alkyl group which is substituted by at least one fluorine atom is described. This compound has a capacity to change its polarity when exposed to light. The invention also provides an image forming material in which the invention compound is added to at least one of laminated layers. When these laminated layers are exposed to light, the adhesiveness of the compound-containing layer to its adjoining layer is reduced effectively due to the polarity-changing ability of the compound, thus making the easy delamination of the layers possible. This compound is applicable to many instances in which image receiving sheets are used, such as the formation of a multi-color image by a transfer method (a color proof, for example) and the preparation of a printing plate of the delamination development type.

    摘要: A photopolymerizable composition comprising an addition polymerizable unsaturated compound having at least two ethylenically unsaturated double bonds in the molecule, a photopolymerization initiator, and a binder, wherein the binder is a tetrapolymer having a weight average molecular weight of from 10,000 to 50,000 represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and w, x, y and z each represents mol percent (mol %), w ranging from about 45 to 65; x ranging from about 5 to 18; y ranging from about 2 to 10; and z ranging from about 20 to 40 and where C.sub.4 H.sub.9 (n) represents an n-butyl group. The photopolymerizable composition can be developed with a weakly alkaline aqueous solution, has sufficient flexibility to be laminated on a base as a dry film, high adhesiveness to a base and reduced surface tackiness. It resists cold flow during preservation, has excellent resistance to swelling by a developing solution after polymerization, and rapid releasability when treated with a dilute aqueous solution of a strong alkali containing no organic solvent, and forms an image faithful to the original with a high resolving power.

The light-sensitive resin composition includes (1) a photopolymerization initiator or a photopolymerization initiator system, (2) an addition-polymerizable monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, (3) a high molecular binder which is soluble in an alkaline aqueous solution and insoluble in water, and (4) at least one of the compounds which substantially do not absorb light in a specified UV region and which, when subjected to treatment with an aqueous alkali solution and/or to heating, are capable of absorbing light in that region and have substantially no absorption in the visible region.
