摘要： The tray 30, which can mount both of a cartridge type recording medium and a bare-disc type recording medium, includes a placing surface 31 having a detection hole 34 for detecting information of the recording medium; a rising portion 32 formed so as to rise from the placing surface 31 at a front side end. The rising portion 32 has a disc holder 35 rotatably provided for positioning the bare-disc type recording medium. Hence, the disc holder 35 can be moved to an accommodation position A for being displaced not to cover the detection hole 34 in the placing surface 31. Accordingly, an area on the placing surface 31, in which detection portions such as the detection hole 34 are formed becomes wider, so that the detection portions such as the detection hole 34 can be sufficiently formed as well as a space for providing the detection portions corresponding to a cartridge containing a variety of information can be sufficiently obtained.

摘要： A recording medium drive device includes a tray to mount a cartridge 92, and a retaining member attached to the case through an attaching member 40A. The retaining member presses the front and rear end portions of the cartridge 92 to the tray. The retaining member includes a rotating member 44 attached to the attaching member 40A and the elastic retaining piece 45 fixed to the rotating member 44. The front and rear end portions of the elastic retaining piece 45 respectively extend from the rotating end portion of the rotating member 44. When the cartridge 92 is inserted, the rotating member 44 is operated to separate the front end portion of the elastic retaining piece 45 from the cartridge 92, and when the cartridge 92 reaches a specified position, the cartridge 92 is pressed by the both front and rear end portions of the elastic retaining piece 45.

摘要： A recess (16a3) is provided to be continuous with the circumferential edge of a tray recess (16a2) of a disk tray (16) housing an optical disc (28) to allow a pickup (45) to move without contacting anything. A cover section (17c) having a substantially tongue-like shape adapted to the recess (16a3) is projected integrally from a rotor support member (17) covering the tray recess (16a2) from above and defining a substantially cylindrical housing space (18) for coaxially housing the optical disc (28), the cover section continuously covering the recess (16a3) of the disk tray (16) and the housing space (18). Even when the optical disc (28) is rotated at a high speed, flutter attributable to airflow or a difference between pressures on both sides of the optical disc (28) can be reduced to allow the optical disc (28) to rotate with stability.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device of reflection type has a liquid crystal display panel and a fixture substrate for fixing the liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display panel is provided with: a semiconductor substrate; a transparent substrate opposed to the semiconductor substrate and on which a transparent electrode is formed, the transparent substrate having a width in a first direction along a surface thereof wider than the semiconductor substrate; a liquid crystal layer sealed between the semiconductor substrate and the transparent substrate; a plurality of switching elements formed on the semiconductor substrate in a matrix manner in correspondence with a pixel arrangement; and a plurality of pixel electrodes formed in the matrix manner in correspondence with the pixel arrangement each connected to respective one of the switching elements. The fixture substrate is provided with an aperture portion to which an aperture, which area is larger than an outline of the semiconductor substrate and which width in the first direction is narrower than the transparent substrate, is formed. The semiconductor substrate is disposed within the aperture. And that, both of edge portions in the first direction of the transparent substrate are adhered on the fixture substrate at a peripheral of the aperture by an adhesive agent.
