摘要： A damping mechanism (1) generates a damping force in response to movement of a fluid between a first fluid chamber (R1) and a second fluid chamber (R2) of a fluid pressure shock absorber. The damping mechanism (1) comprises a partition wall member (2) that defines the first fluid chamber (R1) and the second fluid chamber (R2), and a plurality of chokes (4) provided in parallel, which penetrate the partition wall member (2) to connect the first fluid chamber (R1) and the second fluid chamber (R2). A leaf valve (8, 9) having a valve body that is constituted by only a single leaf is preferably provided in an opening portion of the chokes (4). The chokes (4) generate a damping force that is substantially commensurate with a speed of the fluid passing therethrough, and the damping mechanism (1) exhibits a linear damping force characteristic while having a simple and compact constitution.

摘要： A piston (8) of a fluid pressure shock absorber (D, D1) partitions a first fluid chamber (R1) and a second fluid chamber (R2) in a cylinder (5) filled with a fluid. A pipe member (3) inserted into a housing (2, 30) has a connection to one of the first fluid chamber (R1) and the second fluid chamber (R2). The housing (2, 30) and the pipe member (3) form a space (4) there-between that connects the other of the first fluid chamber (R1) and the second fluid chamber (R2) to the pipe member (3). The pipe member (3) and the space (4) form a long fluid path between the first fluid chamber (R1) and the second fluid chamber (R2). The shock absorber (D, D1) thereby generates a damping force proportional to the stroke speed of the piston (8).

摘要： A recording medium drive device includes a tray to mount a cartridge 92, and a retaining member attached to the case through an attaching member 40A. The retaining member presses the front and rear end portions of the cartridge 92 to the tray. The retaining member includes a rotating member 44 attached to the attaching member 40A and the elastic retaining piece 45 fixed to the rotating member 44. The front and rear end portions of the elastic retaining piece 45 respectively extend from the rotating end portion of the rotating member 44. When the cartridge 92 is inserted, the rotating member 44 is operated to separate the front end portion of the elastic retaining piece 45 from the cartridge 92, and when the cartridge 92 reaches a specified position, the cartridge 92 is pressed by the both front and rear end portions of the elastic retaining piece 45.

摘要： There is provided a shutter opening/closing apparatus which automatically performs shutter opening or closing in accordance with an insertion of a cartridge and does not give an influence, such as abnormal noise or backlash, to loading and unloading of a cartridge. The shutter opening/closing apparatus includes a follower member 18 configured to be engaged, at an opening 11 of the cartridge 10, with a portion of a drive member 13 driven in the cartridge 10 for opening or closing a shutter 15 provided for the cartridge, and a cam mechanism 7, 7a limiting a movement of the follower member 18 so as to avoid contact of the follower member 18 to the opening 11 of the cartidge 10 at a time when the engagement between the follower member 18 and the portion of the drive member 13 is released.

摘要： A front-loading record player comprises a slide base carrying thereon a turntable and movable back and forth with respect to a player cabinet; a driving cam including a front slant retainer section and a rear linear section, the linear section extending in parallel with the moving direction of said slide base and the driving cam being provided on said slide base; a guide cam including a front recess portion and a rear linear portion, the linear portion extending in parallel with the moving direction of the slide base and the guide cam being provided on the player cabinet; and a front door opening/closing drive member for opening and closing a front door of the player cabinet, the drive member being held between the driving cam and the guide cam. The front door opening/closing drive member and the front door are drivingly coupled to each other. The front door opening/closing drive member is driven back and forth and held between the front slant retainer section of the driving cam and the rear linear portion of the guide cam when the slide base is located behind a predetermined position whereas the front door opening/closing drive member is held at a standstill between the linear section of the driving cam and the recess portion of the said guide cam when the slide base is located in front of the predetermined position.

摘要： A damping mechanism (1) that generates a damping force in response to a liquid flow between a first liquid chamber (R1) and a second liquid chamber (R2) comprises a partitioning member (2) separating the first liquid chamber (R1) and the second liquid chamber (R2) and a flow passage (P) formed in the partitioning member (2) to connect the first liquid chamber (R1) and the second liquid chamber (R2). The flow passage (P) comprises an odd number of through-holes (10-14) greater than three which penetrate the partitioning member (2) and are connected in series. A large amount of frictional energy loss due to a long path length occurs in the flow passage (P) and causes the damping mechanism (1) to generate a sufficient damping force.

摘要： An RFID notification unit enables an RFID reader to regularly read the RFID code of an RFID tag attached to the relevant terminal itself, its user and its current location and transmits the RFID code to a server. Upon receipt of this code, the using qualification determination unit of the server determines the current using qualification of the terminal referring to a using condition storage unit. When a user attempts to open an important information file, a file using control unit issues a request to the server. A permit determination unit determines whether to permit the opening of the relevant file, based on the using qualification and the storage contents of a file/level storage unit. When the opening is permitted, the important information file is downloaded onto the terminal or its decoding key is returned.
