    摘要: The preparation of a slurry so as to exhibit no strong alkalinity not only needs a strict pH control, but also needs once dispersing a positive electrode material in water and the operation of drying after the treatment, and other operations, thereby leading to the complication of the operations and a decrease in the yield. In consideration of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a method for producing a positive electrode plate for a lithium ion rechargeable battery, which exhibits less complication of the operations and less decrease in the yield and can prevent the gelation of a positive electrode material slurry. The above-mentioned problems can be solved by a positive electrode for a lithium ion rechargeable battery containing a positive electrode active material capable of absorbing/desorbing lithium ions, a nitrile group-containing polymer, and a binder.

    摘要: Provided is a lithium ion rechargeable battery less suffering from swelling even when stored at high temperatures. Disclosed are a cathode active material, a cathode for a lithium ion rechargeable battery using the cathode active material, and a lithium ion rechargeable battery using the cathode. The cathode active material includes particles, each of the particles including a cathode material capable of intercalating and deintercalating lithium ions, and a film formed on at least part of surfaces of the particles. The film includes a compound represented by Chemical Formula (1). Examples of the compound represented by Chemical Formula (1) include lithium squarate and dilithium squarate. Preferably, the lithium ion rechargeable battery is a prismatic battery.

    摘要: A lithium-ion secondary battery having a positive electrode capable of occluding and releasing lithium ions, a negative electrode capable of occluding and releasing lithium ions, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, an electrolytic solution, and a current breaking mechanism that works in response to the rise of the battery's internal pressure, wherein the electrolytic solution is incorporated with an aromatic compound and the positive electrode is incorporated with a carbon dioxide gas generating agent which is represented by the formula AxCO3 or AyHCO3. It is highly responsive to overcharging owing to the current breaking mechanism attached thereto which activates in the early stage of overcharging. Therefore, it exhibits high battery performance as well as high safety in the case of overcharging.
