    摘要: There is disclosed a process for preparing hot-dip metal coated steel sheets having excellent corrosion resistance comprising electrolytically plating steel sheets containing Si and/or Cr with an Fe-B alloy containing 0.001.about.0.3% by weight of B to the thickness of 0.05.about.5 g/m.sup.2 and thereafter hot-dip-coating the thus pre-plated substrate sheets with a molten bath of Zn, Al or Zn-Al alloy. By this process poorly wettable steel sheets containing silicon and/or chromium can be well coated with zinc, aluminum and zinc-aluminum alloy.

    摘要: Highly reliable measurement of degree of alloying of galvannealed steel sheets is carried out in order to fully control the continuous hot-dip galvanizing and galvannealing process on the basis of evaluation of a combination of two or more X-ray diffraction characteristics. Exact degree of alloying can be estimated without regard to fluctuations in the particulars of the material, the process conditions and the type of the product obtained.

    摘要: A zirconia oxygen sensor for measuring oxygen potential in the molten bath of a metal or alloy having a melting point of 350-550.degree. C., which comprises a reference electrode which is of a substance having a melting point of the same level as or lower than the metal or alloy of which the oxygen potential is to be measured and being liquid at the measurement temperature and is open to the atmosphere, a vessel of a zirconia solid electrolyte containing 5-10% yttria or 10-20% of calcium oxide (CaO) and a lead wire which connects the reference electrode and said molten metal or alloy and its use are disclosed.
