Abstract: A method for producing a composition containing a latex of a nitrile rubber of α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit of 8 to 60 wt % content, and an iodine value of 120 or less, an isothiazoline-based compound represented by formula (1), and a benzisothiazoline-based compound represented by formula (2), both in a content of 26 ppm by weight or more to the rubber, wherein adding both compounds to the latex at 2,000 ppm by weight/min or less, at 50° C. or lower, and the compounds in an aqueous state having 0.1 to 40 wt % concentration. formula (1), R1 and formula (2), R4 represents a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted organic group; wherein formula (1) R2 and R3 represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or an substituted organic group; and formula (2), R5 represent a hydrogen atom, or an substituted organic group, and an integer “n” of 0 to 4.

Abstract: A nitrile-group-containing copolymer rubber, including 15% by weight or more and less than 28% by weight of α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units (a), 10 to 50% by weight of α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid ester monomer units (b), 22 to 74% by weight of conjugated diene monomer units (c), and 1 to 10% by weight of carboxyl group-containing monomer units (d) and having an iodine value of 120 or less, wherein the conjugated diene monomer units (c) are at least partially hydrogenated, and the proportion of isoprene units in the conjugated diene monomer units (c) is 5% by weight or more and less than 33% by weight.

Abstract: A method for producing a carboxy group-containing hydrogenated nitrile rubber includes a step of preparing a latex of a carboxy group-containing nitrile rubber by polymerizing a monomer mixture in a dispersive medium, the monomer mixture containing at least an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer and a carboxy group-containing monomer; a step of heating the latex of the carboxy group-containing nitrile rubber at 50 to 85° C. in the state where the pH is adjusted in the range of 8.5 to 12; and a step of subjecting the latex of the carboxy group-containing nitrile rubber after the heating to a hydrogenation reaction in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst in the state where the pH is adjusted in the range of 5 to 8.

Abstract: A method for producing a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer latex includes: a hydrogenation step of dissolving or dispersing a hydrogenation catalyst containing a platinum group element in a latex of a conjugated diene polymer to hydrogenate a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond in the polymer; an insoluble complex formation step of complexing the platinum group element with a complexing agent to form an insoluble complex; and an insoluble complex removing step of continuously feeding the latex which has undergone the insoluble complex formation step to a centrifuge machine and continuously performing a centrifugation operation to continuously remove the insoluble complex from the latex and continuously discharge the insoluble complex out of the centrifuge machine. In the insoluble complex removal step the feed rate of the latex to the centrifuge machine is adjusted to 0.5 to 15 m3/hour, and the centrifugal force in the centrifugation operation is adjusted to 200 to 10,000 G.
