摘要: A rubber composition based at least on a reinforcing filler comprising a content of silica of greater than or equal to 80 phr, preferably of greater than or equal to 100 phr, and on an elastomer matrix comprising a content of a modified diene elastomer of greater than or equal to 75 phr is provided. The modified diene elastomer comprises macromolecules comprising, within their structure, an n-functional branching unit, n having a value of at least 1 and of at most 9, preferably of at most 6, consisting of a group comprising at least two silicon atoms which are substituted by elastomer branches and connected together via a group comprising at least one nitrogen atom, the bonds between silicon and nitrogen atoms being produced via a spacer group.

(a) 40 to 75 parts by weight of at least one vinylaromatic compound and
(b) 24.9 to 59.9 parts by weight of at least one conjugated aliphatic diene
(c) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of at least one monomer comprising acid groups and
(d) 0 to 20 parts by weight of at least one other monoethylenically unsaturated monomer,
the amounts of the monomers (a) to (d) adding up to 100 parts by weight,
in a monomer feed process in the presence of at least one inorganic peroxide and at least one organic peroxide, with the proviso that
the continuous metering of the inorganic peroxide starts at the same time as the continuous metering of the vinylaromatic compound,
the metering of the organic peroxide is started at a time at which at least 5% and not more than 20% of the vinylaromatic compound has already been metered in in a continuous mass flow under polymerization conditions and
optionally a portion of the inorganic peroxide is initially charged,
and also to the aqueous polymer dispersions produced by the process and to the use of these as a binder, adhesive, sizing agent for fibers, for the production of coatings or for the production of a paper coating slip.-

摘要: A preparation method of itaconate-butadiene bio-based engineering rubber belongs to the bio-based engineering rubber area. The bio-based engineering rubber of the present disclosure is formed through chemical crosslinking of copolymers, which are formed by polymerization of itaconate and butadiene emulsion. The number average molecular weight of the itaconate-butadiene copolymer is about 53000-1640000, and weight-average molecular weight is about 110000-2892000. Itaconate-butadiene copolymers are formed by polymerization of itaconate and butadiene emulsion, then and chemical crosslinking of the copolymer is performed to form bio-based engineering rubber using a traditional sulfur vulcanizing system. The bio-based engineering rubber has high molecular weights as well as lower glass-transition temperatures and can be vulcanized using the traditional sulfur vulcanizing system. The bio-based engineering rubber of the present disclosure has same physic-mechanical property as well as processability as compared to rubber prepared using conventional techniques and may be used for manufacturing tire treads and conveyor belts.

摘要: A process for making a functionalized diene polymer terminated by a functional end group selected from thiol containing end groups, thiolate containing end groups and a combination thereof, comprising
(i) preparing a diene polymer by a polymerization reaction comprising an anionic polymerization reaction;
(ii) adding at least one first functionalisation reagent according to formula (III)
to the polymerization reaction and reacting the at least one first functionalisation reagent with the anionic chain ends of the diene polymer to obtain a first reaction product,
(iii) adding at least one second functionalising reagent (IV)
to the first reaction product to produce a thiol-terminated or thiolate-terminated diene polymer; wherein the process, optionally, further comprises
(iv) isolating the thiol-terminated or thiolate-terminated diene polymer from the reaction mixture, and optionally further comprising
(v) bringing the diene polymer into the form of sheets, bales, granules, bales or into the form of a powder,
wherein the thiol-terminated or thiolate-terminated diene polymer contains at least 51% by weight based on the total weight of the polymer of units derived from 1,3-butadiene, and wherein in formula (III) and (IV) R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent, independently from each other, hydrogen or a hydrocarbon residue containing from 1 to 24 carbon atoms per unit n and wherein the hydrocarbon residue may be saturated or may contain at least one carbon-carbon double bond and wherein the hydrocarbon residue may be interrupted once or more than once by O, Si or S atoms and may contain one or more substituents selected from alkyl amino, alkyl phosphino, alkyl silyl substituents and combinations thereof;
R5 represents an alkylene group —[CXY]p— wherein p is an integer selected from 2, 3, 4 or 5 and X and Y are independent from each other selected from H, or C1-C6 alkyl and each X and Y may be the same or different in each unit p, or the alkylene group is unsaturated in which case two neighbouring X, or two neighbouring Y, or one neighbouring X and one neighbouring Y jointly represent a carbon-carbon double bond;
n represents 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8;
x and y are selected independently from each other and either represent 0 or 1 with the proviso that the sum of x+y is either 1 or 2. Also provided are polymers obtained by the process, compositions and compounds containing the polymers and articles made from the compounds. Also provided are methods of making compounds and articles.-

摘要: A polymer having a hydrophobic polymer chain derived from monomers of farnesene and other optional monomers, such as dienes and vinyl aromatics. The polymer also includes one or more terminal functional groups, such as an amino group, a glycidyl group, a carboxylic acid group, a (meth)acrylate group, a silane group, an isocyanate group, an acetoacetate group, a phenolic group, and a hydroxyl group. Functional groups, such as carboxylic acids, may also be grafted along the hydrophobic polymer chain. The polymer may be incorporated in curable compositions that optionally include one or more polymer resins having similar functional groups. Methods for preparing the curable polymer compositions are also provided. The curable or cured form of the polymer composition may be used in various products, such as a sealant, a coating, a caulk, an electric potting compound, a membrane, a sponge, a foam, an adhesive, or a propellant binder.

摘要: A modified conjugated diene-based polymer and a rubber composition including the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the modified conjugated diene-based polymer includes a modified monomer-derived functional group represented by Formula 1, and an aminoalkoxysilane-based modifier-derived functional group at least one end thereof, wherein the polymer having a unimodal molecular weight distribution, and a polydispersity index (PDI) of 1.0 or more to less than 1.7. The polymer has a narrow and unimodal molecular weight distribution, and has excellent tensile properties and viscoelastic properties while having excellent processability.
