    摘要: Method and apparatus for data recovery in optical transmission systems include parallel detection subcircuits for determining output values of sequentially provided optical data bits such that sequentially provided optical data bits are alternately processed by respective ones of the parallel detection subcircuits. For example, in one embodiment of the present invention, clock values to be used for timing provided to the first parallel detection subcircuit are 180° out of phase with clock values provided to the second parallel detection subcircuit, such that the first parallel detection subcircuit and the second parallel detection subcircuit alternately process input optical data bits according to odd valued clock signals and even valued clock signals. Furthermore, the outputs of the parallel detection subcircuits are connected crosswise to provide control signals for their parallel counterparts. In principle, various decisions are made using decision circuits and desired output values are selected based on the previously decided bits.

    摘要: Method and apparatus for reducing intra-channel distortions of received data resulting from non-linear signal propagation includes parallel detection subcircuits for determining output values of sequentially provided optical data bits such that each of the sequentially provided optical data bits is processed by only one of the parallel detection subcircuits. Two parallel detection subcircuits process the input optical data bits according to even valued and odd valued clock signals. Each subcircuit has first and second signal analyzers to detect the value of the input optical data bit and a first memory unit and a second memory unit connected to the first and second signal analyzers. The input value of clock information provided to the first and second memory units of the first parallel subcircuit are 180° out of phase with input values indicative of a clock speed provided to the second parallel subcircuit.

    摘要: An arrangement for the regulation of the electron beam power of an electron gun, which comprises a filament cathode, a block cathode and an anode. Between the filament cathode and the block cathode is applied a first voltage, while between the block cathode and the anode a second voltage is applied. With the aid of a first closed-loop regulated system the filament cathode is regulated to a constant current value, which has a filament temperature sufficient for the maximum beam power of the block cathode. A second closed-loop regulated system, such including a block power regulator, which is acted upon by the difference between instantaneous block power value and nominal block power value, regulates the voltage between the filament cathode and the block cathode.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a test system for high-voltage technology devices, in particular shunt reactors, as defined in the preamble of independent patent claim 1. The invention also relates to a method which can be carried out with this test system and is intended to test high-voltage technology devices according to coordinate patent claim 5. The general idea of the test system according to the invention is to provide a continuously adjustable inductance and a capacitance, which can be adjusted in discrete steps, on the secondary side of the test transformer in such a manner that said components form a series resonant circuit together with the test object in the form of an inductance. In the method which can be carried out with the test system according to the invention, a rough adjustment of the test system is carried out using the discretely adjustable capacitances of the capacitor bank by connecting individual capacitances of the capacitor bank via an iterative process if an undercapacitance is measured in the test system by means of a measuring device or by disconnecting individual capacitances if an overcapacitance is measured by means of the measuring device until a predefined threshold value of an overcapacitance prevails, with the result that fine tuning of the test system is then carried out by means of the continuously adjustable inductance in such a manner that said components form, together with the test object in the form of an inductance, a series resonant circuit which can be tuned to the point of resonance thereof.
