摘要: An electron emission display including an electron emission substrate having at least one electron emission device formed thereon and an image forming substrate spaced apart from the electron emission substrate. The image forming substrate includes an effective region where electrons emitted from the electron emission device collide with the effective region to form images and a black region surrounding the effective region. The effective region includes a fluorescent layer formed in an arbitrary pattern and a metal layer formed on the fluorescent layer. The metal layer has a structure extending onto at least a portion of the black region.

摘要: An electron emission display comprising an electron collector or metal member is provided. The electron emission display comprises an electron emission substrate comprising at least one electron emission device and an image forming substrate comprising at least one emission region and at least one non-emission region. Images are formed in the emission regions by the collision of electrons emitted from the electron emission devices with the emission regions. The image forming substrate further comprises a metal layer positioned on at least the emission regions, and at least one electron collector positioned in the non-emission region. The electron collector may comprise first and second ends, wherein the first end is attached to the image forming substrate and the second end faces the electron emission substrate. The electron collector stabilizes the metal layer and fluorescent layers, thereby reducing arc and maintaining uniform brightness by re-directing scattered electrons toward the fluorescent layers.

摘要: An electron emission display including a first substrate having at least one electron emission device and a second substrate opposite the first substrate. The second substrate is formed with an effective region and a non-effective region. The effective region includes a fluorescent layer for emitting light by collision with electrons emitted from the electron emission device. The non-effective region includes a region in which a light-shielding layer has a transparent conductive layer and a metal layer. The transparent conductive layer is formed in the effective region where the fluorescent layer is absent. The second substrate improves the brightness of light emitted from the fluorescent layer and prevents a power supply layer, to which a high voltage is applied, from being damaged, because the transparent conductive layer is not formed under the effective region.

摘要: A water-soluble carbon nanotube (CNT) wrapped with self-assembly material, and a method for preparation thereof, in which a mixture of the self-assembly material and CNT is provided, and the mixture induces a self-assembly of the self-assembly material on the CNT, thereby wrapping the CNT with the self-assembly material. Water-soluble CNT wrapped with self-assembly material is readily prepared by this method. The CNT wrapped with self-assembly material has excellent applicability in comparison with usual CNT because of its water solubility. Biosensors can be fabricated by selectively attaching to the CNT wrapped with self-assembly material, receptors that bind to or react with target biomaterials or organic compounds.

摘要: Methods of detecting a dimorphic fungus, including differentiating a dimorphic fungus from other fungi are disclosed. A sample suspected of containing a nucleic acid of a fungus, such as an internal transcribed spacer-2 (ITS2) nucleic acid sequence of a dimorphic fungal rDNA, is screened for the presence or absence of that nucleic acid. The presence of the nucleic acid indicates the sample was contacted by the fungus. Determining whether the nucleic acid sequence is present in the sample can be accomplished by detecting hybridization between a dimorphic probe, species-specific probe, and/or microbe-specific probe and a nucleic acid sequence corresponding to the ITS2 region of fungal rDNA. Kits and arrays for carrying out these methods also are disclosed.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of scaling a partial area of a main picture, by which the partial area of the main picture can be magnified in a manner of scaling the partial area of the picture displayed on a screen like using a virtual magnifier without employing a separate expensive hardware resource. The present invention comprises a first step of making a main scaler extract image data of the partial area to be scaled from full image data according to prescribed scaling information including magnification/reduction information for the partial area of a display picture, a second step of making a sub-scaler scale the extracted image data of the partial area at a prescribed rate, and a third step of overlaying the scaled image data of the partial area on the full image data provided from the main scaler.
