    摘要: Disclosed is a method for producing one or more cylinder oils of varying kinematic viscosity for a marine reciprocating internal combustion engine. The method comprises providing a first fluid having a first kinematic viscosity and a first BN, providing a second fluid having a second kinematic viscosity and a second BN, the second kinematic viscosity different from the first kinematic viscosity, and blending the first fluid and the second fluid in a first ratio to produce a first cylinder oil having a kinematic viscosity equal to or less than 14 mm2/s at 100° C.

Supply air temperature (Tsup) is controlled to bring temperatures in the transport volume within a desired temperature range around a first temperature set point (Tset). The supply air temperature (Tsup) or a time-averaged function thereof is controlled to reach a temperature below the set point (Tset) during a first limited time period; and the supply air temperature (Tsup) is increased during a second limited time period following said first time period, so that the supply air temperature (Tsup) or a time-averaged function thereof at the end of said second time period is within said desired temperature range.

    摘要: There is a growing need for dehumidification control in refrigerated transport containers with an intermittently operated compressor. The disclosed system and method of dehumidification control, controlling the speed of one or more evaporator fans and a heating unit, meets that need using one or more dehumidification need indicators and one or more condensation indicators. More specifically a system for and method is disclosed, comprising: controlling the operation of the one or more evaporator fans (10) for dehumidification purposes according to: if a need for dehumidification is determined using at least one dehumidification need indicator and if at least one condensation indicator indicates that the evaporator (16) is sufficiently cold respectively too warm for condensation or deposition of water vapor on its external surface, then setting or maintaining the speed of the one or more evaporator fans (10) to a reduced speed (LOW) in order to increase a condensation or deposition rate respectively to an increased speed (HIGH) in order to increase heat load to the evaporator (16), respectively. In other embodiments the system and method controls the heating unit as well.

    摘要: This invention relates to a method (and a corresponding system) of creating a cylinder oil, the method comprising modification of at least one initial fluid (101) by determining the TBN(s) of the at least one initial fluid, determining a desired TBN of a cylinder oil (102) and adjusting the TBN(s) of the at least one initial fluid (101) accordingly by blending the at least one initial fluid (101) with suited additive(s) (103). In this way, a method (and system) for modifying initial fluid(s) to create a cylinder oil by adjusting TBN is obtained. This provides significant economical benefits since lubricants that otherwise would have to be disposed of can be re-used as a total-loss cylinder lubricant. Further cylinder oil does not have to be purchased. The oil(s) used to blend the cylinder oil is/are of more consistent quality as it is replenished contrary to the traditional practice which reduces machinery wear, etc. Thus, the replenishment of the initial fluid(s) provides enhanced and consistent performance of the initial fluids resulting in greatly reduced component wear and equipment lifecycle cost. Even further, a more environmentally friendly method/system is provided since waste, in the form of spent oil(s) that is discarded after prolonged use, is reduced as it is converted into a cylinder oil.
