    摘要: A method of determining the amounts of light in the basic colors to which an original is to be exposed during a color copying operation to obtain a copy the colors of which are matched in dependence on the image recorded on the original includes the establishment of color density difference functional correlations from values denoting the results of measurements at a multitude of regions of the film strip which includes the original in question. The correlations can then be used for determining the light amounts for most of the originals. Furthermore, the originals are evaluated for discrimination between daylight and artificial light exposures as well as for recognition of originals including color dominants and, in the latter instance, also for ascertaining whether the color dominant was caused by image-important features. The originals which have been classified as artificial light exposures or as including color dominants are treated as such, and the light amounts used for mating copies therefrom are selected differently from those applied when the originals were classified as daylight exposures or do not include color dominants. The signals attributable to detection of the color dominants may be given higher or lower weight, in dependence on the subject matter which they represent, and certain empirical or threshold values may be used to influence the light amount selecting process.

    摘要: An apparatus for exposing and developing film units which have pairs of overlapping positive and negative sheets and must be subjected to a diffusion treatment subsequent to treatment with a liquid developing agent has an exposing unit above a light duct which is disposed above a compartment for cassettes containing stacks of superimposed film units. The compartment is located above a diffusion chamber and is adjacent to a relatively small casing for a developing unit containing a liquid developing agent and provided with pairs of advancing rolls for the transport of freshly exposed film units from the cassette in the compartment, through the casing and the developing agent therein, and thereupon into the diffusion chamber. The developing unit has a device which temporarily separates the sheets of a film unit during transport through the developing agent. The dimensions of the apparatus are sufficiently small to warrant its use in private homes by amateur photographers in order to make enlarged prints of color photographic negatives.

    摘要: An arrangement for transporting strip-shaped material, particularly photographic paper, includes a one-piece elongated holding element which extends along a triple-turn hairpin course to form four holding sections which are substantially parallel to one another and define with each other three spaces for strip-shaped material. Two brackets which are welded to the end portions of the two outer sections of the holding element and are bent at right angle to the remainder of the respective outer sections support the holding element on a conveyor belt for travel therewith. The four sections of the holding element resiliently contact one another to clamp the strip-shaped material therebetween when such strip-shaped material is received between neighboring sections.

    摘要: Apparatus for classifying photographic prints which are severed from the leader of a downwardly moving web of exposed and developed photographic paper has side walls which define a downwardly extending channel whose upper end constitutes an inlet for descending prints and whose lower end has two or more discrete outlets. The channel contains one or more blade-like switching members which are movable between several positions to thereby establish paths for descent of sheets from the inlet into a selected outlet. The switching member or members are movable between such positions by electromagnets which are installed externally of the channel and each of which can attract or release one or more swtiching members. The channel can be mounted on a pivotable carrier which can move at least one outlet between two different positions for admission of prints which descend through such outlet into either of two discrete receptacles.

    摘要: Pulses of radiation are emitted from the camera to the subject, reflected back to the camera, and incident upon two detectors. The successive pulses produced by the two detectors are applied to respective integrators which trip respective threshold circuits when and if their integral signals reach the threshold value. This inherently reduces detector and other noise present in the processing circuitry. A tolerance-range counter ascertains whether or not, after one threshold circuit is tripped, the other becomes tripped within a predetermined time interval.

    摘要: The patient's breast is pressed against an X-ray film vacuum cassette inserted into a holding arrangement mounted on the X-ray exposure-taking machine. With the patient in position, the technician can remove and insert cassettes from the side, without requiring the patient to move back away from the cassette holding arrangement as with prior-art holding arrangements. Two opposite ends of the loading platform of the holding arrangement are each provided with two holding brackets mounted slidable towards and away from the respective ends of the loading platform, but spring-biased towards the respective ends of the loading platform. The technician grips one end of the cassette, pushes its other end against the two holding brackets located remote from the side at which he is located, pressing those two holding brackets away from the holding platform until the end of the cassette held by him clears the two holding brackets proximate to him, whereupon he swings the cassette flat against the loading platform and relaxes his grip, the biasing springs pulling the two remote holding brackets towards the loading platform. The holding brackets extend along the narrow sides of the cassette and have inward ridges fitting over the edges of the cassette.

    摘要: First and second photodetector signals, whose relative amplitudes depend upon focus error, are integrated to form respective first and second integral signals whose relative rates of change are dependent upon focus error. Each integral signal is applied to two comparators, one whose threshold level is reached first and the other having a threshold level which would be reached second. When one or the other of the two integral signals reaches its first-reached threshold level, this applies a corresponding signal to the data input of a respective flip-flop, and when this faster-changing integral signal then reaches its second-reached threshold level this clocks both such flip-flops. The time elapsing between the faster-changing integral signal reaching its first-reached and then its second-reached threshold level constitutes a tolerance interval, during which the slower-changing integral signal is given an opportunity to try to reach its respective first-reached threshold level. If the slower-changing integral signal reaches its first-reached threshold level within the tolerance interval, then a corresponding signal is applied to the data input of its associated flip-flop as well before the two flip-flops are clocked, with the result that the states of the two flip-flops are the same as if both integral signals had indentical rates of change of value.

    摘要: An arrangement for presenting light-sensitive sheets, especially X-ray film sheets, to a treating machine, especially to a developing machine, includes a closure which is mounted at an inlet opening of a withdrawing station of the machine for movement between a retracted position in which it is spaced from the inlet opening, and an extended position in which it light-tightly closes the inlet opening. The cassette containing the sheets to be withdrawn at the withdrawing station is mounted on a carriage for joint movement through the inlet opening and forms a movable unit therewith. An engaging member engages the movable unit and causes the closure to move into its extended position during the movement of the unit in an initial path section, while an unlatching device unlatches the lid of the cassette during the movement of the unit in an intermediate path section, and a lid-opening device opens the lid of the cassette during the movement of the unit in path terminal path section. A blocking device retains the lid during the return movement of the unit so that the lid is closed and latched before the closure is displaced into its retracted position. The carriage has a sealing plate which prevents manual displacement of the closure into the retracted position.
