Abstract:
A clip for attaching an end of a web to a drive belt. The clip comprises an elongate mount for receiving an end of the web, and an attachment section for securing the clip to the belt. The attachment section comprises two spaced pairs of claws for gripping the drive belt such that the drive belt and the web are substantially parallel and a flexible support connecting the two spaced pairs of claws providing flexibility in the direction of travel, such that, in use, the flexible support can deform to conform to the path of the drive belt as the drive belt passes through a processing apparatus. The resulting clip is easy to use, reliable during use and easily removed from the drive belt at the end of a processing operation.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an automatic processing machine for a light-sensitive color photographic material, having a color developing tank as the formost tank of the processing tanks and a stabilizing tank as the last tank of the processing tanks, which comprises having a system for conveying a light-sensitive material which will not bring the stabilizing liquid components filled in the stabilizing tank into the color developing solution filled in the color developing tank.According to the automatic processing machine of the present invention, the technical task can be solved as a matter of course, and moreover no requirement for piping, no discharging of waste solutions of processing and its small size will result in exhibiting such effects that it can be installed on a floor of higher stage and also be moved, if necessary.

Abstract:
An automatic film developer having a film guide means, wherein a film exposed is developed while it is conveyed in a developing liquid in a liquid tank, and then the film developed is taken out of the liquid along a contact surface of a film guide means in order to be transferred to a next process, and wherein the film guide means is provided with a recess in its contact surface so that the film may be separated from the contact surface in the recess portion.
Abstract:
An apparatus is provided for transporting an elongate piece of material along a predetermined path. The apparatus includes a flexible endless driven belt, for example of a plastic material, which is guided, for example by rollers along the predetermined path. Spaced clips are secured to the belt for engaging the edge region of the piece of material. The material is engaged by some of the clips at a feed station, carried along the path, and then disengaged from the clips. In a particularly advantageous application of the invention the piece of material is a length of photographic material, and the predetermined path runs through a photographic processing installation.
Abstract:
CARBAMATES AND DICARBAMATES OF FLUOROCARBON ALCOHOLS CHARACTERIZED BY HAVING A POLYFLUOROISOALKOXYALKY TRAIL WHEREIN AN ETHER OXYGEN ATOM LINKS A FLUORINATED CARBON ATOM CONNECTED TO TWO FLUOROALKYL GROUPS AND AT LEAST ONE -CF2- GROUP. THESE COMPOUNDS ARE USEFUL TO IMPART OIL AND WATER RESISTANCE TO FABRICS, LEATHER, AND THE LIKE.
Abstract:
A tank for processing filmlike material that is transported through discrete sections of the tank in looped configuration. Each tank section is provided with a discrete weighted roller, that differs in weight or buoyancy from the other rollers, and each of which ride in guide rails to carry the material into the tank sections. The material is confined by the rollers in its passage through the several sections.
Abstract:
A photographic sheet material processing apparatus. The apparatus comprises an upright vessel of flat configuration having a narrow chamber filled with processing solution in which the material may be inserted. An applicator nozzle, below the level of the solution and in communication with the chamber and operated by a pump, directs a stream of the processing solution in the chamber against the emulsion side of the material, resulting in a laminar flow.
Abstract:
Automatic film developing apparatus for processing continuous length film, e.g. movie film. Film is pulled in a helical path about a series of upper and lower freely rotatable guide spools mounted on upper and lower shafts. An auxiliary drive roll underlies the peripheries of the spools on the upper shaft, which is resiliently biassed upwardly. When the film tension reaches some preselected value, the upper spools are pulled down into driving engagement with the auxiliary drive rolls, thus reducing the tension. One end of certain upper shafts may be blocked from vertical movement to provide smoother operation under certain conditions.
