摘要: A cylindrical sliding bearing having a cylindrical steel back metal, and a bearing alloy layer, serving as a sliding surface, on the inside of the steel back metal is provided. The cylindrical sliding bearing further have a coat layer of Bi or a Bi-based alloy formed on the outer back surface of the steel back metal. Preferably, the coat layer is made from the Bi-based alloy of 1 to 30 mass % of one or more kinds of Sn, Pb, In, Ag and Cu; and the balance being Bi and inevitable impurities.

摘要: A multi-lobe foil gas bearing which can accomplish high accuracy rotation by means of a stable fluid lubricating film without being affected by a rotational position or a driving system of a journal at the time of starting is provided. Since two foils are arranged with different phases in a circumferential direction so that each vertex part of one of the two foils is positioned in an arc surface part of the other foil in a plan view seen from a shaft end of the journal, a part having low rigidity and a part having high rigidity of the multi-lobe foil gas bearing compensate each other to eliminate a local part having low bearing rigidity. As a result, it is possible to eliminate a phenomenon such as moving or leaning of the journal at the time of starting, while the fluid lubricating film can exist over the entire circumferential surface of the journal to keep stable high accuracy rotation of the journal.

摘要: A bearing assembly for a turbo-engine with a bearing and parts of a bearing temperature detecting device. The bearing includes a main body having a thermoplastic bearing layer. A space is defined in the interior of the main body and of the thermoplastic bearing layer for accommodating parts of the bearing temperature detecting device. The space has a through hole having a first opening in the thermoplastic bearing layer and a second opening located in the main body. The parts include a temperature conducting element, a temperature sensor, and a securing fixture that attaches the temperature conducting element. The first opening of the through hole has a chamfer and the first end of temperature conducting element has a head which is correspondingly shaped to the chamfer in a form fitting manner. The center-axis of the temperature sensor extends transversely to the center-axis of the temperature conducting element.

摘要: A journal bearing includes a bearing platform, a cylindrical bearing housing supported by the bearing platform via a plurality of load supporting members, a plurality of pads located swingable in the bearing housing so that a journal of a rotation shaft is supported by the pads, an oil supply mechanism for supplying oil to the bearing surfaces of the pads, and a connecting member which has an oil hole to communicate an oil supply passage in the bearing platform with an oil supply passage in the bearing housing so that oil is supplied from the bearing platform to the bearing surfaces of the pads. The connecting member carries a part of a bearing load exerted from the bearing housing, and is mounted such that the part of the bearing load carried by the connecting member is smaller than a bearing load carried by one of the load supporting members.
