    摘要: The invention pertains to an electro-optical connector module comprising a connection part, at least one optical transmitter circuit and/or optical receiver circuit and at least one electro-optical converter for respectively converting electrical signals into optical signals or vice versa. The module further comprises at least two substantially flat and substantially parallel electrically insulating sheets on which the transmitter circuit and/or receiver circuit and the converter are mounted. It is preferred that the connector module according, comprises at least one optical transmitter circuit, at least one optical receiver circuit and at least two electro-optical converters for respectively converting electrical signals into optical signals and vice versa, wherein the optical transmitter circuit and a first converter are mounted on a first sheet and the optical receiver circuit and a second converter are mounted on a second sheet.

The arm is curved inwardly towards the seat to exert pressure on an edge of the card in the direction of a second border (11) of the seat, opposite the first border. It allows to limit a longitudinal mobility of the card in its seat. Further, the connector also has releases (14, 15, 19, 31, 36) on an upper portion of its housing to cover an upper portion of the card, in order to prevent a vertical mobility of the seated card.

    摘要: An electrical connector press for connecting an electrical connector to a printed circuit board. The electrical connector has contacts with compliant attachment zones for insertion into holes of the printed circuit board The press comprises a gripping device for holding a housing of the connector, a force measuring device connected to the gripping device a distance measuring device connected to the gripping device; and a controller connected to the gripping device, the force measuring device and the distance measuring device. The controller controls movement of the gripping device towards the printed circuit board. The controller is connected to a memory having data of geometry of the contacts and the data of a desired insertion depth of the contacts into the holes. The controller can determine a distance which the contacts should be inserted into the holes based upon the data in the memory and force sensed by the force measuring device after the compliant attachment zones contact the printed circuit board. The controller limits movement of the gripping device towards the printed circuit board based upon the determined distance.
