    摘要: The invention relates to an oxygen breathing device for an aircraft, in particular for oxygen supply to crew member in a cockpit of an aircraft, comprising a filter unit having an inflow port and an outflow port, the filter unit being adapted to extract nitrogen from an air flow flowing from the inflow port to the outflow port through the filter unit, wherein the filter unit is adapted to receive compressed air, preferably, bleed air from a precompressor stage of a turbine driving the aircraft, or directly by a separate electrically driven compressor, via a bleed air supply line connected to the inflow port, a first pressure regulator in the bleed air supply line, a first water separator which is arranged in the bleed air supply line in flow direction of the bleed air before the first pressure regulator and a connection port which can be brought in fluid communication with said outflow port of the filter unit and which is adapted to be coupled to at least one oxygen supply mask via an oxygen supply line. According to the invention, a chemical oxygen generator comprising at least one substance adapted to produce oxygen in a chemical reaction and to provide said oxygen to an outflow port of said oxygen generator is provided. The outflow port of said chemical oxygen generator is connected to an auxiliary oxygen supply line and a control unit is adapted to selectively provide oxygen from the filter unit or the chemical oxygen generator to an oxygen supply mask coupled to the connection port.

A breathe-out valve opens from the tube to atmosphere. A manual control member has a normal position causing operation without an over pressure above atmosphere and with dilution and an emergency position causing the tube to be fed with pure breathing gas (typically oxygen) at high pressure. Operation with over pressure gas feed is prevented mechanically or pneumatically so long as the mask is being stored.

It also has a flexible envelope extending the helmet and the face-cover downwards. For leakproof junction between the helmet, the face-cover and the envelope, a hoop is sealingly connected to the helmet. It has a lower branch which constitutes a closed bottom loop for receiving the envelope and a transverse branch having one side designed to sealingly receive the shell of the helmet and an opposite side which sealingly receives the face-cover. A plug rigidly fixed to the face-cover and placed in a vertical midplane of the face-cover, at the bottom thereof, engages a socket pivotally connected to the hoop. Lateral fasteners complete the connection.

    摘要: A respiratory mask adapted to be fit against the face of a user is provided with a demand regulator connectable to a pressurized respiratory gas source. An extensible harness, having end portions connected to said mask, includes an inflatable element. A manually actuatable valve delivers pressurized respiratory gas from the source to the inflatable element to extend the harness when actuated and reduces the pressure in said inflatable element to retract said harness and to cause the mask to engage the face of the wearer when released. A sensor delivers an information representative of a force with which said mask engages the face to a valve for automatic control of exhaust of pressurized gas to atmosphere and admission of pressurized gas from the source, upon release of the manually actuatable valve to adjust the reduced pressure and to maintain the force at a value which is lower than the force exerted when the inflatable element is at an ambient pressure.

The harness has a stretchable strap having ends connected to the mask and including an element which is optionably inflatable by the pressurized breathable gas to extend the strap up to a size which is sufficient to permit fitting of the harness on the head and deflatable to enable the strap to tighten, to bias the mask onto the face and to hold the mask in position. The harness also has a flexible hardly extensible additional strap. A fastener enables to adjust the length of the additional strap and permits direct manual tightening by a user.
