Furthermore, directing the primarily solids phase to a dual-trough having a first trough configured to receive a relatively large solids phase, and a second trough configured to receive a relatively fine solids phase. The method also including transmitting the relatively fine solids phase to a slurry tanks and processing the relatively fine solids phase in a secondary separatory operation.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for mounting a sensor with strict orientation and insertion depth requirements in a process vessel or pipe section. The apparatus includes a lock block having a socket for receiving a plug disposed around a sensor inserted through an inner bore of the lock block. Reception of the plug in the socket controls insertion depth of the sensor in the process vessel. The lock block also includes a cam bore for receiving a cam used to rotationally orient the sensor and the attached plug. The cam is locked into position within the cam bore of the lock block by inserting a retaining pin through a retaining pin bore in the cam. During insertion and removal of the sensor through the sensor mounting apparatus, process isolation is maintained by an integral seal mechanism of the lock block and an internal isolation valve that fits within the lock block.

The method may include circulating a breaker fluid into the wellbore, where the breaker fluid includes a non-oleaginous internal phase and an oleaginous external phase, where the non-oleaginous phase includes a water soluble polar organic solvent, a hydrolysable ester of a carboxylic acid, and a weighting agent, and the oleaginous external phase includes an oleaginous fluid and an emulsifier, and where the hydrolysable ester is selected so that upon hydrolysis an organic acid is released and the invert emulsion of the filter cake breaks.

The system includes a well fluid, at least one process tank into which the well fluid flows, wherein a first process tank comprises a weir arrangement over which the well fluid spills, a mechanical degasser coupled to the at least one process tank and configured to receive the well fluid, and an aeration device disposed in the at least one process tank that generates bubbles in the well fluid. The present invention also provides a method of reducing entrained and dissolved gases from a well fluid that includes flowing a well fluid into a process tank, exerting a centrifugal force on the well fluid, and generating bubbles in the well fluid in the process tank.
