    摘要: A process for regenerating a spent hydrogenation catalyst, comprising the steps of providing a catalyst comprising a support material selected from the group consisting of an inorganic oxide-zeolite composite, carbon and zeolite, and a catalytically active metal phase selected from the group consisting of partially reduced group IB metals and completely reduced group VIII metals, said metal phase being present in an amount of grater than or equal to about 0.03 wt %, and said catalyst having an initial diolefin hydrogenation activity, treating a hydrocarbon feedstock having a diolefin content of greater than or equal to about 0.1% and a nitrite content of greater than or equal to about 2 ppm with said catalyst until said initial diolefin hydrogenation activity of said catalyst decreases to a reduced diolefin hydrogenation activity, flushing said catalyst with an inert gas so as to remove traces of hydrocarbon from said catalyst and thereby provide a flushed catalyst, and regenerating said flushed catalyst by further flushing said flushed catalyst with hydrogen so as to provide a regenerated catalyst having a regenerated diolefin hydrogenation activity which is greater than said reduced diolefin hydrogenation activity.

    摘要: A method of cleaning a wellbore prior to the production of oil or gas is disclosed, wherein the wellbore has been drilled with an invert emulsion drilling mud that forms an invert emulsion filter cake. The method may include the steps of circulating a breaker fluid into the wellbore, where the breaker fluid includes an aqueous fluid, and imino diacetic acid or salt thereof. Optionally an acid buffering agent, and a weighting age are also included. The breaker fluid is formulated such that after a predetermined period of time and the filter cake present in the wellbore or on the wellbore face is substantially degraded. Other methods may also include drilling the wellbore with a water-based drilling mud that forms a water-based filter cake, wherein the method may include the steps of circulating a breaker fluid into the wellbore, where the breaker fluid may include an aqueous fluid, and an iminodiacetic acid or a salt thereof.

    摘要: The invention is a computer-implementable methodology for quantitatively assessing the impact of paid search advertising on the total visits (paid and organic search-based visits) from search engines and utilizing this assessment to improve search engine marketing performance. The methodology relies on the computation of a synergy score for each search engine keyword of interest or coefficients in a synergy equation. Once computed, the score can be used to repeatedly compute the total return on advertising spend (ROAS) and other performance metrics on a go-forward basis without the time lag inherent in computing the synergy score itself. The invention includes specific computer-implementable methods for improving search engine marketing performance based on the total (paid plus organic) performance metrics.
