    Abstract: A system for achieving display of CarPlay operation interface on display screens of multiple electronic devices is disclosed. The system comprises a first electronic device and a second electronic device, wherein the first electronic device has functionality of Apple CarPlay because of including an Apple Mfi authentication chip. Particularly, a CarPlay executor comprising a principal execution unit and a plurality of sub-execution units is provided in the first electronic device. As such, after a second mobile electronic device is in communication with a second electronic device that is coupled to the first electronic device, one sub-execution unit is authorized by the Apple Mfi authentication chip so as to let a CarPlay operation interface be shown on a display screen of the second electronic device, thereby achieving display of CarPlay operation interface on display screens of multiple electronic devices.

    Abstract: A device capable of directly diverting data through UART port is disclosed. The device can be made to be an integrated circuit (IC) chip, so as to be disposed on a circuit board with a USB connector and three UART connectors, thereby forming a USB to UART converter. When using the USB to UART converter, the USB connector is connected to a host computer, and one UART connector is connected to an electronic device. As such, the device provides the host computer with one virtual COM port, such that the host computer is able to conduct a data transmission with the electronic device through the virtual COM port. Moreover, during the data transmission, a data monitoring electronic device is able to hear the transmitted data by way of diverting the transmitted data through the other two UART connectors.

    Abstract: A host-to-host chip includes: first and second ports coupled to first and second hosts respectively; and a host-to-host control circuit coupled to the first port and the second port. When the host-to-host chip is coupled to the second host, the host-to-host control circuit identifies whether the second host is an i-Phone or an Android smartphone. If the host-to-host control circuit identifies that the second host is an i-Phone smartphone, in response to a command from the host-to-host control circuit, the second host switches to host role from device role, and the host-to-host control circuit controls whether data is transmitted between the first host and the second host via a DMA path. If the host-to-host control circuit identifies that the second host is an Android smartphone, the host-to-host control circuit determines that data is transmitted between the first host and the second host in a pass-through mode.

    Abstract: A sensor for sensing a usage status of an electrical device and its associated method are disclosed. The sensor is disposed at a near-end of a power line of the electrical device. The sensor provided with a magnetic detector, an analog-to-digital converter and a controller. The magnetic detector is close to the power line to detect a magnetic field change around the power line to correspondingly generate an analog signal. The analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is used to receive the analog signal and convert the analog signal to a digital signal. The controller is used to receive the digital signal and generate an indication signal to accordingly learn at least one of statuses of being turned on and turned off the electrical device.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic impedance sensing device includes a substrate, a first patterned conductive layer, a second patterned conductive layer, a magneto-conductive wire and an encapsulation layer. The substrate has a surface and a trench extending into thereof. The first patterned conductive layer is formed on the surface, as well as a bottom and sidewalls of the trench. The magneto-conductive wire is disposed in the trench. The second patterned conductive layer extending across the trench and electrically in contact with the first patterned conductive layer is formed on the first patterned conductive layer to make the magneto-conductive wire sandwiched between the first and the second patterned conductive layers. The magneto-conductive wire is encapsulated by the encapsulation layer to make the magneto-conductive wire electrically isolated from the first and second patterned conductive layers. At least one coil circuit surrounding the magneto-conductive wire is formed by the first and second patterned conductive layers.

    Abstract: A transmission system includes a transmission apparatus, a first electronic device and a second electronic device electrically connected to one another. The first electronic includes a composite driver, a first application program, a first display image and a virtual display device. The first composite driver emulates the virtual display device according to the first display image. The second electronic device includes a second application program and a second display image. The transmission interface includes a transmission controller and two transmission interfaces. The two transmission interfaces are connected to the first electronic device and the second electronic device, respectively. When the first application program transmits output data corresponding to the virtual display device via the two transmission interfaces and the transmission controller to the second application program, a virtual display image corresponding to the first display image is presented on the second display image.

    Abstract: A filter and a filtering method are provided. The filter includes a first compare voltage generation unit, a second compare voltage generation unit, a comparator and a first inverter. The first compare voltage generation unit generates a first compare voltage according to an input signal. The second compare voltage generation unit generates a second compare voltage. When the first compare voltage is not over the first reference voltage, the second compare voltage equals the first reference voltage. When the first compare voltage is over the first reference voltage, the second compare voltage equals the second reference voltage. The first reference voltage and the second reference voltage depend on a minimum pulse width.
