Receiving circuitry is configured to receive a radio resource control (RRC) message including first information used for indicating an index of a downlink bandwidth part (DL BWP) in a primary cell. Transmitting circuitry is configured to perform, based on an initiation of a random access procedure, the random access procedure. In a case that physical random access channel (PRACH) resources are not configured for an active UL BWP in the primary cell, the random access procedure is performed on a DL BWP in the primary cell and an UL BWP in the primary cell. An index of the DL BWP being defined as “0”, and an index of the UL BWP being defined as “0”.

    摘要: A wireless terminal participates in communications over a radio interface with an access node of a radio access network (RAN). The wireless terminal comprises processor circuitry configured to detect an abnormal operation of the wireless terminal and to autonomously declare a Safe-Mode without permission of the radio access network. In an example implementation, the processor circuitry is further configured to generate a safe mode indication configured to indicate to the access node that one or more capabilities supported by the wireless terminal is temporarily not available at the wireless terminal; and wherein the wireless terminal further comprises transmitter circuitry configured to transmit the safe mode indication over the radio interface to the access node.

    摘要: A system and method are provided for measuring body joint range of motion using inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors capable of measuring their orientations relative to Earth. The method mounts a primary IMU sensor on a proximal body segment, and a secondary IMU sensor on a distal body segment connected to the proximal body segment via a joint. The sensor orientation relationship is measured between the primary IMU sensor and the secondary IMU sensor. In one aspect, the sensor orientation relationship is expressed as a quaternion. The sensor orientation relationship is converted into at least one physiologically modeled constituent joint rotation relationship between the proximal body segment and the distal body segment. More explicitly, the sensor orientation relationship is converted to a constituent axial axis, composite radial, or primary and secondary radial rotations of the distal body segment measured with respect to the proximal body segment.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are a circuit and a method for the electrical data read-out of a large-area sensor flexible circuit. This circuit incorporates sensing elements of two types, and is therefore used for the measurement of two physical metrics associated with the etiology of pressure ulcers, one of which might be pressure. The flexible circuit is large enough to cover the area(s) of the human body. The flexible circuit comprises electrically of the following components: (a) a passive or active matrix array, and (b) its scanning/read-out circuitry. The matrix array (a) comprises further of (i) two electrodes for the sensing of pressure in each sensing element (sensel) of the array, and (ii) two electrodes for the sensing of another metric (temperature, moisture, pH, etc.) in each sensel. One electrode is shared (common) between the first (i) and the second (ii) sensor in the sensel.
