    摘要: A method of preparing an active magnesium-hydride or magnesium hydrogen-storer system which can reversibly take up H.sub.2, comprising contacting finely divided magnesium hydride or metallic magnesium with a solution of a metal complex or of a metal-organic compound of a transition metal of Subgroups IV-VIII of the periodic table, and then removing the solution. The product performs better with regard to speed and efficiency upon repeated hydrogenation and dehydrogenation, as in hydrogen storage and evolution.

    摘要: A process is described for the catalytic, selective preparation of 2-vinylpyridine from acetylene and acrylonitrile using a cyclopentadienylcobalt catalyst or .pi.-allylcobalt catalyst at elevated temperature in an inert solvent, wherein the acrylonitrile concentration is up to 2 mols/liter and the reaction is carried out at a temperature over 140.degree. C. and up to 180.degree. C., the reaction time being not more than 50 minutes.
