    摘要: A tread design for a pneumatic tire of radial construction for high-speed vehicles is provided. The tire has a height-to-width ratio of .ltoreq.0.6 with a tread design that is tied to the direction of rotation. The tread design comprises profiled elements that are steeply oriented in the circumferential direction at an angle to the equatorial plane of the tire and are arranged in the shape of V's. The profiled elements extend from a central portion of the tread into shoulder regions of the tire, with the profiled elements being angled-off at a bend region in the shoulder regions in the direction of an axis of the tire. Respective continuous inclined grooves that proceed from the central portion to the shoulder regions are formed between the profiled elements. A circumferentially extending rib is disposed in the equatorial plane and forms two central, circumferentially extending grooves, one on each side of the rib, between this rib and starting portions of the profiled elements. The inclined grooves communicate with these circumferential grooves. In the central portion of the tread, the profiled elements extend at an angle of from 5.degree. to 30.degree. relative to the equatorial plane, while in the shoulder regions, proceeding from the bend regions, the profiled elements extend at an angle of from 65.degree. to 85.degree.. The shoulder regions have a forked configuration.

    摘要: A tread surface profile including a three-part configuration. A circumferentially extending, centrally disposed, linear or zigzagged rib has connected on both sides thereof a plurality of central blocks that are separated from the rib by shallow and narrow venting grooves. On both sides of the rib, pluralities of profiled blocks that extend from a tire shoulder toward the rib, with the profiled blocks being separated from the central blocks of the latter by longitudinal, circumferentially extending channels, and being separated from one another by lateral channels. The profiled blocks and the central blocks are arranged in S-shaped configurations that extend over the width of the tread surface in a diagonal fashion. The shoulder end of each profiled block is oriented axially at an angle of from 90.degree. to 80.degree. relative to the central tire plane, and each rib end of the central blocks is oriented circumferentially at an angle of from 35.degree. to 55.degree. relative to the central tire plane. The lateral channels are connected to one of the longitudinal channels, with at least a portion of the latter being circumferentially oriented at an angle of from 0.degree. to 65.degree.. The profile portion formed by the rib and central blocks extends over 25 to 40% of the of tread surface width. The profiled and central blocks are provided with sipes that extend parallel to the lateral channels and are connected to at least one of the longitudinal channels and venting grooves.

    摘要: A screw extruder for mixing, homogenizing, and degassing highly viscous rubber mixtures and similarly acting thermoplastics. The extruder has mixing pins associated with the housing in the mixing and homogenizing zone, and degassing pins associated with the housing in the degassing zone. The degassing pins have passages or channels through which gases and vapors are withdrawn. The retaining or damming structure at the entrance to the degassing zone can also be formed of pins associated with the housing. The conveyed material is mechanically and thermally satisfactorily made uniform by the inventive pin arrangement without material shearing forces, and can also be effectively and favorably degassed. High flow-through rates of the material can be achieved with high product quality.

    摘要: A vehicle wheel having a one-piece wheel rim on which can be mounted a pneumatic tire. The tire has a tread strip, two sidewalls, a carcass, and two tire beads which are laterally spaced from one another and contain substantially inextensible bead cores. The wheel rim has two rim shoulders, which are laterally spaced from one another and extend outwardly into a respective rim edge or into a respective rim flange. The rim also has a radially recessed rim base. The wheel further includes an emergency operation support member which is disposed in the recessed rim base and has a supporting surface which is located radially outwardly of the rim flange. The emergency operation support member is provided with a radially inner surface which faces the rim shoulder and is disposed at a distance from the latter, this distance corresponding to at least the thickness of the tire bead. An annular chamber is provided which extends further radially inwardly to the recessed rim base, and is widened axially inwardly.
