A flow rate for each of the nozzles is determined based on each respective nozzle's location in the field. A field map is used to determine a crop requirement and application restriction associated with a nozzle's location. The field map contains indications of crop requirements and application restrictions. The flow rate for a nozzle is determined by comparing the nozzle's location to the field map. A flow rate signal is transmitted to each of the nozzles based on its determined flow rate.

The weighted reflectance data of the bands can be combined, along with down-welling light data captured at the time of the multi-spectral images to generate a faPAR image. In some cases, faPAR is generated using a ratio of up-welling PAR (uPAR) to down-welling PAR (dPAR). The dPAR can be generated using partially-reflectance-calibrated data and fully-reflectance-calibrated data and the uPAR can be generated using the partially-reflectance-calibrated data.

An example computer-implemented method includes generating a shared collaborative map for a first and/or second agricultural machine(s), based on data gathered from the first and second agricultural machines. The map indicates locations in a field where the first and second agricultural machines have already planted seed. The method also includes providing the map to a cab monitor of the first and/or second agricultural machine(s), generating a trigger based on the map for the first agricultural machine, and communicating the trigger to the first agricultural machine, based on a current location of the first agricultural machine relative to the map, to prevent the first agricultural machine from replanting regions that have been already planted by the first agricultural machine or the second agricultural machine.
