摘要: A method of preparing shrimps includes boiling them at a pressure exceeding atmospheric pressure, at a temperature exceeding the boiling temperature of water at atmospheric pressure, for keeping the meat of the shrimps in a compressed state while causing the meat to solidify and loosen from the shells of the shrimps. The shrimps are then rapidly cooled for causing the meat to be separated from the shells in an area behind the head of the shrimp and above the tail. Subsequently, the shrimps are peeled by mechanically opening the shells for allowing the meat contained within the shells to fall out. The meat is separated from the remains of the shrimps, including shell parts and eggs, by introducing the meat and remains into a separation liquid, causing the meat to float on the separation liquid while allowing the remains to sink. Finally, the meat is removed from the separation liquid.

摘要: The crab cleaning method disclosed includes the step of cutting an uncooked crab into two halves along the longitudinal axis of the body of the crab. The crab is cleaned of gills and other unedible parts which are exposed by the cut. The claws or pinchers are removed and each half of the crab is squeezed along a line perpendicular to the longitudinal axis beginning with the legs and squeezing toward the open side of the body to expel the meat out of the shell. The apparatus disclosed for accomplishing this includes a roller that squeezes the crab half between the roller and the surface of a base member to crush the shell and extrude the edible raw crab meat therefrom.

摘要: The present invention relates to a continuous on-board drying method for Antarctic krill and a continuous on-board processing method of shelled Antarctic krill. The drying method includes the following steps: 1) subjecting fishing materials to cleaning, sorting, and dewatering with a vibrating screen; 2) rapidly heating the krill to the temperature of up to 70° C. using infra-red rays; 3) hot-air drying; 4) impurity removal by vacuum; 5) cooling to obtain dried krill. The processing method includes the following steps: a) subjecting fishing materials to cleaning, sorting, and dewatering with a vibrating screen; b) rapidly heating the krill to the temperature of up to 70° C. using infra-red rays; c) hot-air drying; d) subjecting the dried krill to shelling treatment to separate shell from meat, to obtain shelled krill; e) impurity removal by vacuum to obtain shelled krill product. The methods in the present invention are highly efficient, energy saving, green and environmental protection, and the krill products have high quality and safety.

摘要: A method and apparatus for deshelling shellfish, particularly lobsters. An automated processing line conveys shell-fish through a plurality of stations that sanitize, butcher, cut, and extract the meat, and then packages and prepares the package for sale. Vision systems with multi-axis robots guide and manipulate the shellfish through the processing line. Customized breaking blocks are used to sever parts of the shellfish, for example, the tail, knuckles and claws of a lobster, and a customized gripping device is provided for securing the severed parts in position on a conveyor. A water knife is then used to precisely cut the shell of the severed part.

摘要: A central twin or single chain conveyor with abutments moves crabs through a centering device, beneath leg hold-downs and into an intersecting chain having projections that strike the carapace's leading edge to pivot it away from the crab body, and into a guide that, with the chain carrying the projections, will transport the carapace to a cross conveyor for removal. A central pipe, closed at its upstream end, is stationarily positioned to enter the body cavity and remove the viscera from the crab body, and travels in the body cavity while cleansing liquid is sprayed through holes in the pipe to clean the body cavity and the crab is guided by the pipe. Rotatably driven brushes biased into the crab body will, along with the water sprayed, remove the gills. The central conveyor has link support surfaces on opposite sides of a central plane of symmetry to space the crab body above the central portion of the chain so that a central rotating saw may saw the crab body into two sections, each with the legs attached. Thereafter, biased pivoting shoes press each crab section against a stationary concave guide surface to rotate the crab section as the legs are being sawed from the body section along an arcuate cut line, aided by the central chain that pushes the body into the saw, permitting the legs to lag slightly behind, until half the legs are severed. The central chain drops and the pair of outer chains pushes the remaining legs through the saw, permitting the body to lag.
