Abstract:
This invention relates to a face mask (100, 200, 300) comprising a central area (40), comprising a fabric material (45), an elastic area (20), extending laterally at least partially from the central area (40) and comprising an elastic material (15), and being connected to the central area (40) at an interface section (30). Further, the elastic area (20) comprises an adhesive (11) provided on a bottom surface (12) of the elastic material (15) along at least a portion of a periphery of the face mask (100, 200, 300), forming an adhesive sealing profile (10). A space between the intersection section (30) and the sealing profile (10) comprising the elastic material (15) is an intermediate elastic area (25).
Abstract:
A SMARTMASK has skin compliance maintained over time to protect a user's respiratory system from contaminated air while protecting the face and skin, and is configured to support a sagging lower jaw during sleeping, and which has moistening and warming functions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to face masks to control and improve the quality of inhaled air. Claimed and described is a respiratory face mask comprising a flange and a filter layer, the flange having an inner periphery and an outer periphery and a first and a second width measured perpendicular to the inner periphery between the inner periphery and the outer periphery, characterised in that the first width is greater than the second width. Preferably, such face masks are strapless and rely on a hydrogel adhesive for attachment and sealing. Further claimed and described is an improved cover layer for an adhesive of such a face mask.
Abstract:
A face mask is disclosed. The face mask includes an inside surface, an outside surface having at least one edge, and at least one loop having a first end and a second end attached to the outside surface, where the loop is less than about 80 millimeters in length.
Abstract:
A mask structure includes a covering body and a pair of elastic bands formed on the opposite sides, for coveting a wear's nose and mouth of the face. The covering body can be a plane sheet or a cup-shaped cover. The mask structure is characterized in that an inner cover of the covering body includes an adhesive layer on the peripheral thereof, and a corresponding paper layer is attached on the adhesive layer, wherein after the paper layer is detached from the adhesive layer, by pressing the covering body, the adhesive layer is adhered to the wear's face so that the covering body is closely and completely covering the wear's nose and mouth for efficiently preventing virus infections.

Abstract:
A smoke mask includes a generally planar breathing filter sized to cover the nose and mouth of a user. The breathing filter may be either dry or moistened, and has a filter efficiency of at least about 95%, meaning that at least about 95% of charge neutralized particles having an approximate size of 0.3 micrometers are removed from air flowing at a rate in a range of about 81 liters per minute to about 89 liters per minute, with a total filter load of at least about 200 milligrams of the particles. A transparent eye shield, which may be either a plastic film or goggles, is attached to the breathing filter. Pressure sensitive adhesive is located on the peripheral edge of one surface of the mask structure for securing the mask to the face of the user.

Abstract:
A surgical face mask having a see-through portion and a porous portion wherein the see-through portion is adapted for viewing a portion of the wearer's mouth. The face mask may further include an eye shield which may be pivotally secured thereto. The see-through portion may be formed from a fog-resistant flexible film. The porous portion may be formed from a spunbond/meltblown nonwoven laminate.
