The center rail includes a spool configured to provide half-speed travel of the center rail relative to the travel of the first rail. The drawer slide is configured for use with a drawer assembly having a drawer and a chassis. The drawer assembly further includes a radius limiter secured to the center rail. The radius limiter travels at half-speed relative to the drawer. The radius limiter also automatically rotates relative to the travel of the drawer. The chassis includes sides including threaded backing plates, and mounting brackets. The mounting brackets include tri-lobed holes for receipt of a reciprocally shaped washer and a fastener for mounting the brackets to the chassis sides.

The mechanism may include an upper pull-out rail with a substantially U-shaped cross-section affixed to the drawer and may optionally include a lower rail with a substantially U-shaped cross-section affixed to a wall in a drawer cavity. The mechanism may also have an intermediate rail, which is disposed between the upper rail and the lower rail, or alternatively may support the upper rail while attaching to the wall. One or more bearing holders provided with at least one ball bearing and a plurality of rollers or wheels supports the upper rail and optional lower rail in a mounted relationship with the intermediate rail.

    摘要： A sliding guide rail assembly (20, 20a, 20b) is provided for slidably mounting a drawer or equipment (10) within a cabinet or chassis. The rail (33a) is formed from a sheet metal into a T-shaped section onto which a sliding means (40, 40a, 40b, 40c) fits and slides smoothly thereon. Guides (50, 120, 150, 160) also formed from a sheet metal into C-sections fitting over the sliding means (40, 40a, 40b, 40c) and operable to slide smoothly therewith. This enables the drawer/equipment mounted on the slide (20, 20a, 20b) to be drawn in and out with little effort or wear and tear.

    摘要： A thin profile drawer slide apparatus for slidably supporting a heavy drawer in furniture, comprising symmetrical, identical channel members for slidably attaching the apparatus to a drawer and an article of furniture, a plurality of bearings slidably retained in the channel members by bearing retainers, and by an intermediate slide member. The intermediate slide member comprises the unitarily formed combination of a generally vertical central wall, a first bearing raceway joined to an end of the central wall, and a second bearing raceway joined to an arcuate wall extending angularly outwardly from the first bearing raceway, whereby the first and second bearing raceways are vertically and angularly separated. The ball bearings are arranged in four linear, slightly offset sets. Use of a single intermediate slide member with raceways for four separate sets of bearings provides a thin, strong drawer slide for carrying heavy loads. In an alternate embodiment, the central wall of the intermediate slide member comprises a generally rectangular window with a progression roller mounted therein on a vertical axis of rotation. The roller exerts friction on the inner faces of the channel members by compression against the inner faces when the roller is moved. Edges of window act as a detent on the roller and also urge the slide closed when the slide is brought to rest with the roller against one of the edges. The windows relieve compression of the roller when the slide is fully closed.

    摘要： A progressive action, full extension drawer guide which allows drawers to open completely, has first and second rails with recessed nesting portions and ball bearings therebetween for gliding of the second rail with respect to the first rail, and a third rail with roller guide means which fits within the recessed portion of the second rail. A friction roller is mounted for rotation on the second or middle rail and contacts tracks on the first and third rails to move the second rail progressively one-half the distance of movement between the first and third rails. Novel stops are provided to stop the movement of the first rail with respect to the second rail and to stop the movement of the second rail with respect to the third rail when the drawer is fully extended. The drawer guide is very compact so that it can be used on relatively shallow drawers.

    摘要： A drawer extensible slide chassis, of which opposite hand units are adapted for attachment in mirror image to the interior of a desk pedestal or a filing cabinet, and to the sides of a drawer. The chassis comprises: a case attachment rail of channel profile, a drawer attachment rail of channel profile, and a unitary extension slide having first and second slide rails of channel profile extending along and affixed to one side of a generally bar shaped connecting member. The first rail of the extension slide is partially telescoped into the case attachment rail and is slidably correlated therewith on ball bearings. The drawer attachment rail is partially telescoped over the extension slide second rail and is slidably correlated therewith on ball bearings. The case and drawer attachment rails are both disposed in greater part along one side of a median vertical plane extending longitudinally between the attachment rails and the unitary extension slide rails, and intersecting the channel profiles of said rails.
