摘要： A customizable organizational and internal communications system comprises several interconnected modules, wherein the modules therein can be firmly interlocked and easily interchanged. The organizational system comprises multiple rectangular modules having longitudinal channels at all corners, each module being formed by four rectangular panels having alternating rectangular crenellations and rectangular recesses which are inversely configured on two opposite edges; multiple interlocking pins having a shape which is fitted into hollow space defined by the corner channels of adjacent modules so as to keep them from moving apart; and an optional rectangular box frame surrounding the assembly of multiple rectangular modules. Accessory panels having various functions, such as calendar, key holder, can be inserted in each module to provide for desired functionality customized by the end user.

摘要： An article of furniture includes two rigid parallel panels spaced apart by removable rigid members and each having a convex under edge serving as a rocker. A platen of spaced and relatively inflexible elements, such as bamboo rods, is draped over the upper edges of the two panels so that it overlaps the panels and provides a surface on which a person can recline. A massaging assembly between the panels is reciprocable along tracks so that the undersides of the elements are engaged in turn by wheels of the assembly to provide a massaging effect on the underside of a person reclining on the platen.

摘要： A portable workstation can be folded so as to be readily portable, and has a seat portion and a table portion for holding a book, electronic device, and papers, among other things. The tray portion is adapted for use with electronics equipment, wherein the tray portion provides a support for the electronic device. The workstation has a main leg pivotably connected to a pair of legs. An umbrella can be connected to the workstation in the folded condition of the workstation, and can be opened and adjustably positioned in the unfolded condition of the workstation. In another embodiment, similar in structure to that of the workstation, a seat is provided, but omitting a table portion. A cane handle can be provided at the upper end of the workstation.

Tubing is cold worked to impart any desired design such as simulated bamboo having realistic culm and node characteristics. The tubing is preferably formed into serial or repeating sections, each characterized by the desired design. For simulated bamboo, a realistic node is worked into the tubing between adjacent sections. The invention may be regarded as a method for manufacturing the resultant elongate hollow decorative tubing or, alternatively, an article of manufacture such as a chair incorporating the resultant elongate simulated bamboo article.

摘要： A pendantly-supported swing chair has a mobile stand supporting a cross bar over which passes the upper ends of two parallel ropes. Each rope provides two upwardly extending portions which pass through, and hold in place at vertically-spaced positions, two rigid wooden support members. A bamboo platen has respective end areas providing an overhead sun screen supported by one pair of support members and a seat supported by the second pair of support members. The intermediate area of the screen provides a back rest and may be formed with a lumbar support. Arm rests movable to chosen positions on the ropes may be provided for comfort. Holes through which the ropes pass enable the heights of the seat and sun screen to be varied as well as their angles.
