An active foodware system includes a visual-stimulating component for displaying information related to a plurality of sensing components, such as load cells, sensing weight of food on respective dining surfaces of supporting dining plates. A mechanical structure supports and positions the dining plates in a constrained relationship to each other, and cavities in the mechanical structure may unattachedly mate with the dining plates. A wireless communication component wirelessly sends weight data to the visual-stimulating component, such as a mobile phone or tablet computer. The system is configured to determine calories of the food, and the system may include a camera for sensing the food or a diner. The visual-stimulating component may display information other than information provided by a scale, and auditory and haptic stimuli may also be provided.

More specifically, the present invention relates to a food serving finger guard device and dispenser primarily comprised of a body, a finger protection member and a thumb protection member. One embodiment of the invention is also comprised of a dispenser. The finger protection member and thumb protection member cover the fingers and thumb of a user such that a user can grip a plate without risking their fingers or thumb touching the plate or food on the plate. The device also shields the user's thumb and fingers from being burned by a hot bottom surface of a plate. A dispenser may also be used to store and dispense a plurality of devices from the dispenser in a stacked fashion.

The present invention relates to a handheld tool to facilitate removing of an eggshell from a hard-boiled egg quickly and safely without damaging the egg and creating a mess. The tool includes a longitudinally extending handle, a peeler portion having a top concave surface and a bottom convex surface, a fin protrusion attached to the bottom convex surface, and a neck positioned between the handle and the peeler portion. The fin protrusion is used for tapping the eggshell of the hard-boiled egg to crack the eggshell and the peeler portion is configured to insert underneath the eggshell and to move along an exterior of the hard-boiled egg for removing the eggshell therefrom. The tool removes the eggshell quickly within ten seconds without breaking the eggshell into tiny pieces.

The mold is heated up to temperature above 120° C., then the mold is closed, and then is depressurised, thus forming a gap between the edges of the mold not wider than 0.5 mm, and then the mold, if needed, is closed again, and the depressurisation cycles are repeated. After the last cycle the mold is opened and the number of depressurisations is at least 1, and the entire process of depressurisation and closing the mold takes a few seconds and is completed according to the program of the machinery digitally controlling the mold movement depending on the expected parameters of the final product.

Further, knowing the type of food located in the food compartment enables transmission of data to a remote location wherein the data includes or is the basis for information or reports relating to the type of food consumed, including the nutritional value thereof. In addition, the sensor may also monitor the food compartment and/or container and send data, including images, in real-time to a remote location.
