摘要： A system suitable for collecting and transporting urine away from the body of a person or animal may include an assembly having a fluid impermeable casing having a fluid reservoir at a first end, a fluid outlet at a second end, and a longitudinally extending fluid impermeable layer coupled to the fluid reservoir and the fluid outlet and defining a longitudinally elongated opening between the reservoir and the outlet. The assembly can further include a fluid permeable support disposed within the casing with a portion extending across the elongated opening, and a fluid permeable membrane disposed on the support and covering at least the portion of the support that extends across the elongated opening, so that the membrane is supported on the support and disposed across the elongated opening. The assembly can further include a tube having a first end disposed in the reservoir and a second, fluid discharge end.

The proximal end includes an opening that provides access to an internal cavity of the collection member. The internal cavity includes a first chamber in fluid communication with a second chamber. The urine collection device includes a spacer in the second chamber, a first attachment member extending from a bottom wall of the collection member at the proximal end, a second attachment member extending from a top wall of the collection member at the proximal end, and an outlet for egressing urine from the internal cavity of the collection member. The first attachment member defines an aperture. The collection member is suitable to (i) direct urine from the first chamber to the second chamber and (ii) direct the urine in the second chamber distally toward the outlet.

摘要： An apparatus for collecting urine from a user includes a sheath portion having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is configured to make a seal with a penis of a user. An outlet is positioned at the second end and is configured to enable urine to exit the sheath portion. A channel is operably coupled to the outlet to convey urine away from the sheath portion. A throttle valve is coupled to the channel at or near the outlet to enable air to enter the channel in a regulated manner. In certain embodiments, the channel is coupled to a collection chamber which is in turn coupled to a vacuum device. The vacuum device may be configured to pull air bubbles into the channel to assist in conveying the urine into the collection chamber. A corresponding method is also disclosed.

A supplemental urinal spout is provided and comprises both an inlet portion and a retention portion, the supplemental urinal spout being attachable to the spout of the urinal to form a leak prevention seal. Opposing tabs are provided to aid in attaching the spout to the urinal. The supplemental urinal spout comprises a funnel-shaped element that is integrally formed with a cylindrical sidewall.
