    摘要： A linear motion therapy device that has a single semi-enclosed worm-driven actuator (guide bar) with one end attached to a cantilevered and adjustable foot and heel support. The opposite end of the actuator is attached to a corset the person wears while in a supine position called a thoracic lumbar spine orthosis (TLSO). Next to the corset, but attached to the actuator is a motor, a height adjustment screw, and a stabilizer plate. A cord is attached to a push button hand control device for moving the foot support along the guide bar in a forward or reverse direction. Movement can be stopped at any time. A patient also wears a constraint that wraps around the thigh called a thigh support that attaches to the actuator with a pivotal and adjustable arm. This device can be adjusted to either leg.

    摘要： An apparatus for aerobic leg exercise of a seated user includes a first unit having means for supporting a first linear track on a floor, means for joining a first unit to the first linear track for non-resistive movement and means for enabling the seated user with a multi-positional contact for moving the first unit along the first linear track without substantial vertical movement of the seated user's knee. A second unit has means for supporting a second linear track on the floor, means for joining a second unit to the second linear track for non-resistive movement and means for enabling the seated user with a multi-positional contact for moving the second unit along the second linear track without substantial vertical movement of the seated user's knee. A means secures the first unit and the second unit at a desired splay angle and a means stabilizes the apparatus.

The device is provided with a contact sensor, a foot rest on which the feet of the patient rest and selectively moves back and forth or rocks vertically, a movement counter for counting the back-and-forth movements or vertical rocking of the foot rest, and a brake device for braking the back-and-forth movement or vertical rocking of the foot rest when the count reaches a preset value.

    摘要： A portable medical device suitable for use in continuous passive motion (CPM) rehabilitation programs has a lightweight modular frame for ease of storage and portability. In one embodiment a proximal sling module is pivotally connected to a distal sling module with is pivotally connected to a heal plate module. Another embodiment includes a base module is pivotally connected to a proximal sling module which is pivotally connected to a distal sling module pivotally connected to a link pivotally connected to the base. The joint of a patient's limb is flexed through a range of motion by pivoting the distal sling module relative to the proximal sling module. The device is powered by a motor and worm gear directed by a controller.
