    摘要: The present invention relates to stabilized 123I-labelled radiopharmaceutical compositions having a stabilizer which comprises gentisic acid or a salt thereof with a biocompatible cation. Methods of preparation of the stabilized radioiodine compositions as well as the use of gentisic acid to stabilize 123I-labelled radiopharmaceutical at a specified radioactive concentration range are also described.

    摘要: Methods of treating tumors, lesions, and cancers comprising delivering to the affected site a combination of peroxide and hypochlorite anion. Hydrogen peroxide and sodium hypochlorite are possible sources of peroxide and hypochlorite anion, respectively. The reactants may be injected simultaneously or sequentially, and combine at the site to produce singlet oxygen. Singlet oxygen may be delivered to the treatment site or generated at the treatment site. Isotopes are also synergistically used in conjunction with singlet oxygen. The isotopes may be radioactive isotopes, non-radioactive isotopes, or both.

    摘要: The present invention relates to stabilised 99mTc radiopharmaceutical compositions, which include both a radioprotectant and one or more antimicrobial preservative(s), and hence have an extended lifetime of use. The radioprotectant is ascorbic acid, para-aminobenzoic acid, gentisic acid or a salt thereof with a biocompatible cation, and the antimicrobial preservative is one or more compound from the paraben series of preservatives. The invention is particularly useful for cationic, lipophilic 99mTc heart imaging agents such as Myoviewnull.

    摘要: The invention is a novel method and kit for directly radiolabeling proteins such as antibodies or antibody fragments for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The method comprises incubating a protein-containing solution with a solution of sodium ascorbate; adding a required quantity of reduced radionuclide to the incubated protein. A kit is also provided wherein the protein and/or reducing agents may be in lyophilized form.
