Abstract:
A multi-compartmental sports equipment backpack enables segregated and secure storage and portability of baseball related equipment. The backpack provides a container having a plurality of compartments, sleeves, and hard cases that enable segregated storage, back mounting, impact protection, and efficient access to baseball related sport equipment. The container comprises a front panel, a mount panel, and at least one sidewall that form a primary cavity. The primary cavity stores sport garments and balls. A front pouch joins with the front panel and provides segregated storage capacity. A top hard case stores a pair of glasses. A bottom hard case stores a sport glove. At least one sleeve stores and enables quick access to a sport stick. A latch member enables quick release latching of head protection equipment. A mounting member enables the container to be mounted on the back for portability. A handle provides a grip for carrying.
Abstract:
A baseball bat support device includes a main body having a bat receiving pocket formed therein for removably receiving a portion of a baseball bat, a spacer affixed to the main body, and an attachment clip disposed on the spacer. The baseball bat support device is removably attachable to a chain-link fence. The spacer is wedge-shaped and is receivable within an open area of the chain-link fence. The attachment clip includes a notch foamed in its periphery which engages a wire twist link of the chain-link fence.
Abstract:
A warmer for a sporting element used for striking another element, the sporting element to be warmed including a sidewall having a predetermined shape enclosing a space, the warmer including an inner layer of thermally conductive material defining a cavity having a shape adapted for receiving at least a substantial portion of the sporting element with the inner layer in intimate relation therewith; an outer layer of thermal insulating material at least substantially containing the inner layer; and an intermediate layer comprising at least one microwave heatable element or substance disposed between the inner layer and the outer layer. According to another aspect of the invention, the warmer can include a heatable element placeable within a hollow portion or cavity of a sporting element, the heatable element being heatable by placement in the warmer, or in a microwave oven.
Abstract:
A compartmental bag system includes an outer containment surface, a cargo pocket, an insulated compartment, and a plurality of sport equipment pockets. The compartmental bag system is useful for storing of food and beverages cold in a sports bag, while keeping sports equipment stored in the same bag dry and safe. This design keeps food and beverages cool or warm depending on the packets used to chill or heat, the outer pockets are used to store towels, equipment, shoes, and the like. Due to the insulated nature of the inner insulated cooler pouch all items stored in the outer pockets are kept dry and safe from condensation chilling packets and liquid kept in the insulated cooler pouch.
Abstract:
A bat hanging device that can be securely and selectively connected to a chain link fence is disclosed. A modular rack into which the bat hanging device may be securely and selectively inserted is also disclosed.
Abstract:
An insulated covering includes strategically placed hand warmer pockets in which hand warmers can be inserted to heat the bat barrel. The heat from the hand warmers can eliminate vibration on the hands and allow the ball to travel further. In addition, the covering protects the bat barrel from dents and scratches. The covering will also fit in a bat bag which will eliminate the need to carry two different bags. A user can open a pack of conventional hand warmers, slide them into the pockets on the bat covering, and place their bat inside. The pockets may be made of a breathable fabric, such as mesh. The pockets may be formed in strategic positions inside the insulated bat covering.
Abstract:
A portable bat rack configured for being mounted on a support surface and for receiving at least one bat to be supported by the portable bat rack. The portable bat rack includes a first rack member and a second rack member. The second rack member is movable between an open position and a closed position by pivoting the second rack member with respect to the first rack member about the pivot connection. When in the open position, the second rack member is positioned for receiving a bat for supporting the bat. When in the closed position, the second rack member is positioned for transport or storage of the portable bat rack.
